busy, busy...
SOOO sorry i haven't kept up with the journal entries! We didn't have internet access in Paris.
We're in Barcelona now and its pretty much awesome. I was gonna write yesterday but we basically leave by 9am and get back by 10pm or later and then we just go straight to sleep cause we're so freakin tired.
I'll give you a quick rundown of what we're done so far.
FRIDAY
-We went and bought wicked tickets which we ended up seeing that night
-We went to the London Zoo
-Kensington Palace
-ate dinner at some Italian place close to Kensington Palace
-Saw Wicked(its a musical)s
-Went to Mcdonalds for cones. Which by the way taste completely different there.
SATURDAY
-Made last minute trip to bookstore before our train to Paris to buy Paris & Barcelona guidebook and French phrasebook
-Caught our train to Paris..didn't think we were gonna make it cause we got delayed for a bit by security
-Arrived in Paris at around 10pm and we got lost for like 2 hours trying to find our hotel. it was pretty ridiculous.
SUNDAY
-Went to Notre Dame
-Eiffel Tour
-Arch de triumphe
and btw i have no idea if i'm spelling any of these thing right.
MONDAY
-Napoleans Tomb & Army Museum
-The Lourve
-A Church (name i cant recall at the moment)in this small part of Paris that was very very nice.
-Got crepes
-Shopped in the small little part of Paris we were in.
TUESDAY
-Went to Versailles
-Museum D'Orsey
-Ate at this french mexican restuarant....completely BAD IDEA! we ended up going to Mcdonalds afterwards.
-Left a little early to catch our train
-Ate at the train station
-Settled into our sleeper car which we had to share with one other person..wasn't as bad as we thought it was going to be.
WEDNESDAY
-Arrived in Barcelona at around 9:30am...couldn't find our hostel..but wasn't our fault this time.
-Accidently found beach..so we just decided to enjoy it
-Bought Ice Cream
-Went to the AWESOME Barcelona Aquarium
-Bought cones at Mcdonalds
-Ate at a Spanish restuarant.
THURSDAY
-Breakfast
-Went to Sagrada Familia
-Went to La Rambla..spent alot of time there...its basically this street with street performers and restuarants and people selling stuff. its pretty cool.
- Then we caught a Flamenco show.
-Ate at a Spanish restuarant..then somewhere else for dessert.
I'm so tired...We've been doing ALOT of walking....I mean ALOT. My poor body isn't used to it so of course i've been sore for most of the time. Today and yesterday though i think were the only days that i felt like my legs weren't going to comletely give out.
I've taken lots of video so far...pictures too but chelsea has been mainly taking the pictures so we can conserve battery power for taking video. but yeah...there's ALOT of pictures..ALOT.
I'm gonna try to post some pictures soon to hold you guys over till i get home!
Sleep now...so tired.
