SUPERBAD! Yes, Superbad opening night.Fantasicly Hilarious movie. Just Awesome. I'm going to have to see it again though because this is a banter movie and so when someone said something funny everyone laughed so much and so loudly that you missed what hilarious thing the person said back. Don't mind at all having to see it again though, not at all.
*But yeah, went with Chris and Alex and before the movie we hung at at Chris' house a bit and we baked cookies and Alex made us mac and cheese.
Oh I have someone to go to Final Fantasy with now! Alex offered himself up to take me to Denton in the late hours of the night. I also gave him my extra ticket to Dashboard. Also last night i couldn't resist buying tickets to Circa Survive. I knew they would be touring soon i was just hoping it would be like in December or maybe even January...Only because I've already spent too much money on tickets and its hurting my London trip. But its all tickets I've HAD TO buy though. Most of my top favorite bands decided they would all just tour at the same time and during the time where i really can't afford anything.
So now.
Dashboard October 10th (With Alex and Chris(a week before I leave for London)
Circa Survive November 1st (need to find someone to go with)(its like 4 days after i come back from London
Final Fantasy November 2nd(With Alex)
Of Montreal November 4th(With Chris)
Tegan and Sara November 9th(With Alex)
Eisley has also played a show recently and I THINK they also have another one coming up. and even though their AMAZING live. I've already seen them like 3 times. And their not one of the bands that i HAVE TO see every time they're in town, unlike dashboard and saves the day.
speaking of saves the day..
SAVES THE DAY are doing an ACOUSTIC TOUR while I'm gone. so devastating i can't even stand it. it's not in Dallas, but it is in Austin. And when I mentioned this to Alex he said " we'll just drive to Austin" and i said with a very sad tone " I can't go anyways" and he replied back "oh you're gonna be in London" and i said with my head hung low "yeah". This is something that if I had known months ahead about i either a) would have cut my trip short or b) just not gone. YES, i know that would sound so stupid and absurd to alot of people. But it's true. And yeah, If I'm gonna miss saves the day missing it in London and in Amsterdam AND in Rome isn't a bad alternative. But still.
My plane ticket is non refundable and non transferable.
This is ridiculous. I'm going on this great trip. And being devastated that I can't go see saves the day cause I'm going to be in Europe...thats not really something someone is gonna feel sorry for you about.
I just need to keep in mind that me going to Europe is a big deal. And who knows when I'll get another chance to go.
Enough of that..I need to try to get that all out of my head.
Now back to the rest of last weekend.
Saturday i did much of nothing. We did go get ice cream from Sheridan's which was yummy. Then Sunday morning i went to work and when i got picked up we went to my aunts house cause my grandma and grandpa were in town and they were...well, at my aunts house. I ended up being there from like 1pm till around 11pm..i actually think later than that. Also messed with my cousin Yvette a bit cause she got a new phone so she hasn't gotten all of her numbers on it yet. When me and my other cous Anabel realized she didn't know it was me we decided to have fun with it.
So that's pretty much it.
This week quite a few things have happened but I'm going to leave that for a different post.
All is going pretty well. And all these things I have coming up and some new opportunities that have come up this week(that I'll talk about in another post) have made me quite optimistic about what lies ahead for me after I turn 20.
