This should be a good day
I'm leaving work early to have dinner with my Dad. We're going to what is apparently "the 3rd best fish and chip shop in London". This might not sound great but London is a big place, and over here we take our fish and chips seriously. This should be good.
Afterwards I'm going to see a play at the National Theatre with Harry and Becca. It's called "The History Boys", and it's by Alan Bennett - probably my favourite dramatist. I don't know how well known he is elsewhere, but he wrote the script (and the original play) for The Madness of King George.
Fun fact - The play, and the English version of the film, were called "The Madness of King George III", but in America they chopped off the "III", because people might think they hadn't seen parts I and II and therefore not bother.
I went for a run last night for the first time in over a week, so I might just be on the mend.
