Thursday
WEll today was a very exciting day...Went to work this morning...then we took the kids to the Ski show, that was awesome, except for the fact it was sooooo freaking hot out, I wanted to jump in No 1 pond, like it was nothing.
The Red Sox didn't play tonight...Where do they get off thinking they can have a day off? haha Just kidding, I'm always lookin foward to mine.
After we got back from the Ski show, around 11:35, it was lunchtime. We all had lunch and then went outside to burn some of it off. I played Four Square for a little while, and that is always a good time, yanno? I atleast have a good time when I play. I was in #1 Square for a long time, then I got too hot--I think it was because I hadnt had anything to drink in a while, so I went inside.
After that, what do you know...its the Kareoke party...! PARTY! PARTY! PARTY! It was awesome. The kids and I really had a good time. It's awesome when you can see the smiles on their faces because of things that you're doing for them. Thats one of the reasons why I love working with them so much.
I got outta work at 430, I came home, Showered, Had Dinner, and Talked to Tony for a little while on the phone before I had to go to Work at the College...Volunteering stinks. But someone has to do it, right? HaHa. Just kidding.
I got into work, and had my usual "meeting" with Betsy...(cough cough, butt time, if your a nicotine addict like me--then you know what I mean), and I met her new "flame". I give it a few weeks before she's talking about someone else.
Worked with Mark tonight, and thats always fun. Also, the best part of my day was seeing AnneMarie's smiling face at work, it was awesome! I really miss working with her. Her face lit up just about as much as mine when she found out we were going to "work" together tonight. Billy, or Tony, or whatever his name is, AnneMaries husband, (inside joke), called tonight to say hi, like he always does to me on Thursday nights....things felt like old times.
Anyway, work wasn't too bad, felt a little longer than it usually does, probably because I was a little more tired than I normally am. I got out at 10pm, and then came home. Stayed here for about 15 minutes and then decided to take a little trip to Dunkin...where I got my usual, Iced Coffee, Yum yum.
Tomorrow its off to the Rec with the kids. Gotta love that water! Anyway, its supposed to be a nice day. Right now its quarter of Midnight, so I think I'm going to get to bed early tonight so I can actually show up early to work tomorrow.
