I Told You It Gets Better!
As the saying goes, "When life hands you lemons...", I was right about the fact that things would improve. I am working through a temp agency for meager wages, but this is because I don't want to commit to a better job until I move. That's right! I am moving to Orlando at the end of April to finish up my degree at UCF. My dad owns half of a duplex near campus and he is letting me rent it for a very reasonable price. I am sad that I will be moving away from my friends, family, and my beach, but it is for the best. I can save some money and have access to a wealth of things. In truth, it is not that far from here. My true friends will gladly visit me there or open their homes when I want to visit them here. My family will always be my family and I am on my way! I have continued to do modeling work despite the loss of my conventional job. I have to thank Smoocherie for turning me on to ModelMayhem.com. It has been a valuable resource and I hope to expand my portfolio and have lots of fun along the way. I can't wait to see the photos that were taken. I could kick myself for not owning a laptop, because I have to wait for the CD with all the shots. I did some fun retro stuff and a little tease on the beach. I even did a set on the playground at a local beach and ended up with an audience of small fry as we worked.
My social calendar has indeed been full. It is now at the point that I cherish moments at home with my remote. With my school and work schedule, time in my recliner is a welcome reprieve. Anyway, I must get going for now. It's time to whistle off to work!
