So...
I've had all five of my classes.
Basically, I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm gonna go crazy, even though I'm not sure that there is a lot of WORK so much. Just a lot of reading. And this is almost all stuff I want to actually retain too. I mean, four of my classes are psychology courses. I want to actually LEARN this stuff.
I really think that Abnormal is going to be a good class. I have Dave again, and I liked him and did well last semester. I have a friend already in the class, which can never hurt really. And I just think that I'm really going to like Dave's approach to Abnormal Psychology.
Dr. Asshole on the other hand... I can tell already that I'm not going to get along with too well. He's just really... He's really present. You know? Like in your face. And loud and overly enthusiastic about this one project that I'm going to hate. Get this, a "Behavior Diary". Blow me. Yeah... I just feel like that's going to be a long class.
I liked everything else though. Sensation and Perception with Dr. Mace I think it going to be a good class. He seems pretty cool. Very funny. Dr. Kelly for my English class was also very funny. I knew I was going to like him because other people (Chuckie) told me how great of a professor he is. He told us our first assignment was to drop the class. Lol. He doesn't like having 35 students in a class, which hey, neither do I. And Stats I think is going to be okay. We'll have to see how it goes. It's mostly learning a new language, he says. Lol. Whatever.
So... yeah... classes... aren't particularly WORK intensive, just lots of reading and keeping up with all that. Lots of tests to prepare for and almost all cumulative finals at that. I got admonished for not having taken Stats yet before taking 311 and 312. But I'm at the point that I have to take courses concurrently with the prerequisites, because I don't have enough classes left that I need to take. So, whatever. Yell at me all you want, it shouldn't be a big deal in the end.
As a random note, as I'm sitting here typing in the Cyber Lounge, fucking "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" has started to play. That's awesome. Lol. Now I want to play Raving Rabbids.
ANYWAY. I have my counseling appointments set up already. I got two leftover paycheck totaling like $72, that's pretty cool. I got my advisor douchebaggery taken care of today, too. Saw Jen, who I haven't seen in like 2 years? And ran into Brittany at lunch. Got some ice cream. Lol. Really tasty coffee ice cream.
Yeah.
We'll just have to see how this semester will shape up.
I also have to talk to Prof. Arnold and Dave about like graduate schools. They both should be able to help and Prof. Arnold offered to help. And I have a feeling I should REALLY be on that, like last semester or longer ago. But we'll see. For now let's get the first week of classes out of the way and Sexual Assault Advocacy Classes and all... get a week of this semester and craziness under my belt and then I'll start looking into grad schools and getting into the psychology honors society on campus and all...
