I am Alexstrasza, the life-binder.

[A horned woman in red and gold is standing in Chromie's room - on-screen, this appears to be a softly-lit cave with a sand floor. There is a still pond gently lapping. She radiates calm; her voice is quiet and old.]

It is a noble task you fulfill here. The renewal of life is not the domain of Chronormu's flight, but compassion is the calling of all noble beings.

[As she speaks the desert blooms - at first a few scrubby patches of grass beneath her feet, and then new green shoots spreading from the edges of the water.]

What is done here is an act of love - to give new hope to those who have spent their lives without it. A chance to be reborn as innocent.

[Nubs of cacti and aloe push through the sand and grow quickly until they dwarf the woman in red that is speaking. The groundcover grows vivid pinwheel flowers.]

Know that if you hear these words now, you are loved. Without exception. You are all the children of your worlds. No one being is less precious than any others, and no child's loss is overlooked by their mother. Life rejoices. You are saved. You are wanted. You are forgiven.

[Thin, hardy vines have covered almost all of the sand now in living green, and by the pond there's even the beginnings of a broad-leafed palm tree. A jewel-bright moth alights on Alexstrasza's hair. The room has become a tiny oasis.]

The infinite reaches of the world are open to you and embrace you, to have and to bloom within. Your task is simply to return to your home when all the good you do here is done. Your lives, as all life - will go on.

[She switches to an ancient language, intoned as if in a blessing.]

Come home, Chronormu.
