I no longer have to dream of a White Christmas
It's snowing! Ok, I know I've said before that I don't really like snow, but as I'm watching it lightly fall outside I realize that I've kinda missed it. It just doesn't feel like Christmas when I'm in New Orleans. It's not like Chicago, it's just not the same without the cold and occaisional snow. It's so beautiful outside now.
Today was spent trying to get our house in order for the big party tomorrow. After mom and I went to both Jewel and Dominick's to get everything we needed, we came home to find our poor pepper puking. One of the piles had blood in it so we took him to the vet just in case. The vet said it was just his esophogus is irritated from throwing up so much. I feel so bad for Pepper. He's been through so much. I love him though. I could be feeling like complete shit and all I need to do is look at his little face and it melts my heart. I love my puppy.
My lip gloss obsession has no been replaced with a salon hair stuff obsession. I just bought 3 bottle of Nexxus Ensure Conditioner, 3 bottles of Graham Webb Ice Cap Shampoo, 3 bottles of Graham Webb Ice Cap Conditioners, 3 bottles of Back to Basics Green Tea Shampoo, 2 bottles of Redken Quick Treat Styler, and 3 bottles of Back to Basics Cool Mint Shampoo from some woman on eBay for a grand total of $75 with shipping. That's really not bad considering each probably sells for $10 a bottle or more (I know the Nexxus is $14 each) at salons. I know, I have a terrible problem. It's just that since I can't wear anything fragranced on my skin because it will break out, I've gotten really picky about what I use on my hair. My hair must smell nice.
Damn, she just e-mailed me and said she was out of the Nexxus conditioner. I'm a little upset about this. That was what I originally was looking for and then I started buying more when I saw what she had. :(
Oh well, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is on TNT so I'm gonna go watch. Hope everyone has a nice holiday!
