This isn't like any bar he's seen. And he's been in his fair share of bars, most of them advertising their $5 Jello shots on Tuesday nights, which Dean always manages to scrounge up some of their leftover gas money for to try at least two. Then that almost always leads to a round of tequila shots, and after that

Tiwa gives him a headtilt from where she's drawing,

"He might not be here, sorry."

[gotaplan]

"Yeah," Sam mutters absently, though his attention is mostly focused on where the hell he is rather than who the hell is talking to him.

"I'm getting that."

[pi_wakawaka]

"You should sit down, that might help. Um, let's see, I usually go by Tiwa."

She's kind of distracted by how tall he is, near as tall as Tane and she stands up to compare.

[gotaplan]

And he's still relatively distracted by - well, everything.

So much so that he doesn't exactly hear her suggestion to sit down.

"I'm--"

He cuts himself off, unsure of whether or not Dean would want him using a fake name. There doesn't seem to be any harm in being honest here, though.

"--Sam," he finishes.

[pi_wakawaka]

"Nice to meet you, Sam. Where should you be? You're almost as tall as my brother."

Tiwa's fine with him being distracted, it gives her time to study him and honestly she's not that good at being honest anyway.

[gotaplan]

"Missouri," Sam mutters, idly scratching the back of his neck.

"We're on the way to Missouri."

[pi_wakawaka]

"That's in the States, right? You've come a long way then. Are you any sort of magic? Oh and do you want a drink or something?"

The headtilt she's giving him is rather birdlike as she peers at him, he has something about him but nothing she recognizes.

[gotaplan]

"Magic," Sam echoes. "No, I don't think so."

He doesn't know it now, but soon, he'll start demonstrating some pretty powerful behavior.

[pi_wakawaka]

"Oh, well that will probably make things simpler but I'm not sure how you got here then."

[gotaplan]

"I'm guessing this isn't actually in America, then."

Sam pauses.

"... am I dead?"

[pi_wakawaka]

"Kind of under London if you squint. Nope, look all sorts of alive to me."

Her accent isn't English exactly but also very much not American.

[gotaplan]

"Good," Sam says, sounding relieved.

Though he's pretty sure Dean would get a kick out of the concept that the afterlife is actually a bar.

[pi_wakawaka]

"So do you want a pint of something? I don't think its enchanted at least I haven't enchanted it."

She's very reassuring or kind of tries to be, he's cute.

[gotaplan]

"A drink?" Sam actually cracks a brief smile.

"Oh, I don't think so." What he's mostly concerned about now is trying to get back.

[pi_wakawaka]

"Oh, are you sure? I mean I know Strangefellows is kind of dark and dreary but they do know how to pull a pint."

[gotaplan]

"Dark and dreary is right," Sam agrees.

She doesn't look like she could turn on him, but if there's one thing he's learned, it's that looks can be very deceiving.
