Strangefellows - still 3am - a new arrival...

He'd been playing.

Of course, that was a good thing in one respect, because it meant that he had his violin with him and that was a much more helpful thing than really anyone might imagine. That said, the fact that he'd been playing in the middle of his room during summer vacation in California did mean that he ended up in Strangefellows with nothing more than a pair of khaki slacks, a t-shirt, and his sneakers.

And the violin.

He'd been playing for something different, something new; his song had been a cry for freedom, a exaltation of the joy involved with knowing that you were finally going to be going somewhere. Of course, upon appearing he played a note discordant enough it almost tripped him but, er--

So, apparently it'd sent him somewhere.

Somewhere that looked... rather seedy. Seedier than the Last Sunset Tavern, which took work.

"Uh... where am I?"
