Since my work resume is currently in fighting form from the recent job-hunt, I figured I might as well update my writing portfolio as well today. And you know something? Despite all my woe and angst and painfully cliched self-flagellation, I've had at least one thing that I've written in print every single year since 2006.
And that? Is really not too damn shabby at all.
I'm firing submissions out into the universe today, which explains why I let a pot boil over on the stove and made a grand mess of my kitchen. Can you tell I'm feeling more like myself again or what? *g*
(Hey, randomly, a friend told me a trick for getting things with starch in them to not froth up and boil over and I've totally forgotten it. Does anyone know what that was? Is it a bit of oil in the water or salt or what?? *baffled by cooking*)
