Hey, do you guys remember back in 2008 when I started expressing my high-pitched delight over a certain story? You know, that 'Pass the Parcel' book that I've been nagging you all to read despite the fact that maybe you don't like reading novel-length stories online..?

IT IS FUCKING PUBLISHED NOW. LIKE, ON PAPER. WITH A BEAUTIFUL COVER. YOU HAVE ( Read more... )

OMG! How awesome! For apiphile, of course, but for the entire reading world too.

I fear this little writer may be in slightly too lofty company now, lol

The cover art is pretty awesome too. Very eye-catching. I'm really curious now, because the brief summary stokes the curiosity, but doesn't give a whole lot away. *ponders*

LOL. Btw, what's the vetting/review process, and how far short of fabulous can my writing be, and still make it? (Obviously just the sort of question one should ask a few days before the deadline...)

Yeppir, ice wafers! Aren't they fun?

Oh man, oh man. The main problem I've had when attempting to pimp it is that the plot is incredibly complex. Lots of intersecting plotlines, but the characters are so stellar than you ain't going to lose track of anybody, trust me. *g* I could go into detail with regard to all the individual plots, but we could be here all night.

Alas, I've absolutely no idea, since I'm leaving that part up to Del! If it's unfinished, it'll get sent back to you. Beyond that, no clue, I'm sorry!

MAH FAVE. I haven't had them in ages!

I zipped over to Wikipedia in hopes of providing a link and apparently they're either more obscure than I thought or not actually called 'ice wafers'. XD These things, om nom nom... Really cheap but delicious cookie-things. Don't know what they're made of, but I'm assuming about as many identifiable ingredients as Twinkies. *g*

I know what they are now! They are called ~something wafers here, too. They cut the insides of my mouth up, so I avoid them. But yum! Delish.
