Things Wot Make Me Flail Wildly
HEY! Nobody bothered to tell me that my girl Michelle Rodriguez was in Avatar, as, y'know, pure undiluted awesomesauce!
Seriously epic movie, by the way. (Ah yes, full of emotion and symbolism and detail and Megan gets distracted because her favourite girlcrush is running around in a tank top and blowing stuff up. Art is wasted on me.) I personally loved the hell out of it, but I suspect this is going to be one that people either adore wholeheartedly or won't be able to stand. I cried three times, and only twice because it was sad, yo. *G*
Speaking of... stuff? Rrrr, I hardly even want to mention this because I owe so many people so many things, but I'm going to be rewriting a good (er, better?) draft of my NaNo novel from '08 between Jan 1st and the last day of February. Call it NotMoWriMo, I guess. I've gone through it a couple times taking notes and have boiled the critical bit down to "Holy shit, this is going to take a lot of work to rewrite!"
I'm... more excited about this than I'm letting on, perhaps. *g* This is one of the few NaNo stories that I continued to adore even after I was done with the thing, and one of the few where I built a world stable enough to keep playing around in with confidence and enthusiasm. And, uh. Okay, the reason I'm rewriting it is because the sequel has kind of started forming in my head. *flail* And by 'kind of', I mean 'has a title, a solid plot, and I would've started writing it now if I weren't forcing myself to do a sharable version of One-Way Streets first'.
So anyway. 8-D Coming soon to a crazy person's journal near you...
