Status update
Fridge is utterly broken. Has leaked a lovely little lake of water onto the floor. Maintenance unable to see to it until Monday.
Flipped on the lights first thing this morning... pop-sizzle. Lightbulb burnt out. Okay, fine, standard issue problem...
Over to the kitchen... pop-freakin'-sizzle. Kitchen lights now burnt out as well. Beginning to suspect I've been cursed. Consider going back to bed.
Wander over to water the one living plant in the place. The stalk snaps and the plant swoons sideways like a fangirl overcome. Currently propped against the side of my desk.
So! The obvious question here: Who did I piss off and what do I have to do to make it right before I wind up Final Destination-ing myself here?! Is it because I chickened out and took the Xena: Warrior Princess joke out of my Law & Lit presentation? Did I screw up my karma by making faces at the security camera in the elevator? Or because I abandoned my research paper to its fate upon discovering Never Mind the Buzzcocks??
