Tattoo: I has it!
Yay!! I didn't faint! I didn't attempt to flee! I'm ridiculously pleased with how he did the shading! *happy hands*
And allow me to state for the record: it hurt waaaay less than I had expected. Very, very manageable, although it got pretty tender during the shading part.
I was definitely nervous as hell though... The artist kept telling me to calm down and tell him if the room started spinning. And then I got scolded for holding my breath while he was doing the long straight bits. ("Okay, that will make you pass out..." "But you told me to hold still!")
Afterward, he mentioned that he'd had to do some of the first lines twice since my heart was pounding so hard that the needle was skipping spots. Hello, Nervous Nellie here! Hee!
