So I've been helping out with this graduate student seminar, and my gawd... there are a lot of grad students this year. I know we lost a bunch last year (either through graduation or because they didn't pass the qualifier/exam), but seriously... There's like 20 something of them. There's so many, that Tim might not be able to TA this semester/year. And, because there's so few experienced TA's, I might get stuck being a mentor for like three or four labs (which is... a lot). I hope I don't have to teach on top of that... >< This semester is going to kick my butt.
I found out that my practicum MIGHT be from 7am to noon every weekday. I am so not looking forward to that.
And SQUEAK! Amy and LD are going on another date on Friday!! I feel like a silly fourteen year old cheerleader in the background. I must stay quieter. :P
I feel like watching anime. I'm losing my Japanese really fast. I also realized that Japanese and French occupy the same space in my brain. Occasionally I feel the need to say "beaucoup" in the middle of a Japanese phrase... such as: cohi wa beaucoup oishii desu. ("coffee is very delicious." -- the "very" is in French, everything else is in Japanese). It is quite an amusing brain exercise. :)
I need to stop having weird dreams about exes. Uncouth!
My birthday is soon. Oh dearie.
