Did you know that the practical joking element of April Fools Day was most likely started in France? In France (or French cultures, like in French Canada) the person being fooled is referred to as a poisson d'avril, or April fish. This originally had something to do with the zodiac, and the French traditionally celebrated April Fools Day by placing ( Read more... )

It's such a funny mod, isn't it? *snicker* I'm glad I finally found a good excuse to use it.

Hee Hee, I don't know what's funnier: The dialogue between those three (classy as always, Ripp :P), the fact that they are fighting with FISH or the fact that there are FEATHERS coming out from said fishes!

*snort* Probably the feathers. That kills me. Too bad they didn't modify that part to make it a shower of fish scales! :P

And you know that Ripp can't hear the word fish without his mind heading for the gutter. Oh wait... it's always in the gutter! (A better vantage point for checking out the sweet, sweet view, maybe? *snicker*)

Yeah, that's what happens when someone gives priority to his lower head! :D

Those fishes are hilarious! I love the stuff they come up with in the community!

Oh, Ripp! *sigh* Don't try to think with the head that doesn't have a brain. :P

I know. Isn't it great? Someone put a lot of time and effort into making fish fighting a reality for our sims. There is always something new and amusing to discover out there.

Had to be said, huh? *snicker*

Yeah, you have him there. I guess he doesn't consider that to be cheating on his vegetarian diet.

Oh, and have a nice dead fish! *places one on your back*

Yeah, I like the cheap and easy jokes. (and I'd like to add "fish taco", just because it makes me laugh)

Ewww! *wipes fish juice from shirt* Great. Now I'm going to smell like Sea World. *slaps you upside the head with Shamu snack*

Fish taco is a good one. *snicker* (Does anyone even really eat tacos with fish in them, though?)

*sticks a whole flatfish to the side of your face*

Take that!

That's a good observation about Ripp's choice of location for that session. I'm sure there may have been something to it, and he was very upset about having her find him in there, wasn't he? Ophelia really might be exactly what Ripp needs, but yes, there is the Johnny factor to consider. Could trouble be brewing?

Oh, but that's just what Ripp WANTS you to do... *snicker* You're just giving him what he wants.

I'm glad you find it interesting. That whole scenario and relationship is very interesting for me to think about and write. And it keeps changing, ever so slightly, all the time. I think I know what will happen, but I can never say for sure.

I think that the strong friendship at the core is what keeps them stable. That equilibrium is delicate, but they all consider their friendship very important, and that would keep them from deliberately doing something to harm it.

Ripp's strategy thus far has been denial, but that's not working very well for him anymore, so now he's really starting to struggle with the situation. He wants to be with Ophelia, but it's not worth losing Johnny over. He'd love to be able to have it both ways, I'm sure, but how realistic is that?
