I hold in my toes a transcendent and beautiful scene
Squishy, slippery, sticky green weeds of the Sea
With snakelike fingers and whispers of squeaky release
They reach out in their splendor and beckon me
Toward a magical world beyond imaginings
Created by the luscious lapping of green and blue
Toward the barnacle covered rocks
Which beg to be climbed up, around, and through
And into cavernous outcroppings of stone
To find creatures hiding in the shady mist
Where the all of life shines so proudly
It can be difficult to resist
Sitting down to mingle a while there
And watch the travelings of little gray snails
While potential sand castles begin calling
For my hands and shovels and pails
Their soft mystic voices traveling
On the wings of the tranquil Sea breeze
And sweeping across the Sky's puffy white
And calming blue to rest upon my knees
The Spirit of the Sea is within you and me
And every time we breathe, it can set us free
I will forever listen to the song it sings
And dance with the rushing tides
For within every piece of my heart and soul
The Ocean's sweet whisper resides
There are so many frustrating things about my life right now. But despite all that I still feel so fortunate and grateful for so much and I'm still having an incredible time doing everything I do. Time to make sleepings.
