Horrid!
Today I spent most of my day in Tacoma trying to find the medical examiners office so I could pick up my grandfathers death certificate. And I dont know Tacoma that well AT ALL. So with the use of really bad directions and a hidden buildning I finally found the place. But I came home empty handed because the funeral home has to release his certificate or something like that, and they havent yet. Oh! and did you know the state makes bank on obtaining birth and death certificates? Yes, for a stupid piece of paper that has a stamp on it, it is $13 dollars for a death certificate and $15 for a birth certificate. And when a person dies, you need to send the "offical"certificates to companys, that the person owed debts to, or the life insurance people. So I ended up spending $60 on the certificates. After that was over, I went up to the old coffee house that I went on my first date to. They used to play free jazz there, and my friends and I used to go up there all the time and pretend like we were beatniks or intelectuals while we sipped on our coffee, and listend to music. Unfortunatley the place was bought out by a stupid corporate chain called Tully's coffee, and now it sucks.
Next, I had the delight of trying to find doggie laxitives for my rottie, who is "plugged up" But they dont make doggie laxitives for some odd reason. But they do make stuff that reduces the smell of farts, so I got that stuff for her to try because she has the WORST gas ever! Even Kimi was grossed out when she was over at my house one time and Ursa let out a big one. Her reply was, "oh my god, was that your dog?" Of course Im going to say yes, even if I did infact pass gas, because you always have to blame it on the animals.
Then off to the eye doc's because they screwed up my perscription in my glasses. One eye is 6.5 and the other is 6.75. But they acused me of lying because it looked fine to them in the maginfier that they use. So I let them have it, Ive never really went off on a complete stranger like that, but you dont mess with my glasses, and call me a liar. But now my glasses are being sent off to the lab for new lenses :) Eeep! I completely forgot library day, fuck I have books due. I must go!
