As I have appeared to have developed insomnia (went to bed at midnight, was still awake at 1.15am, next time I looked at clock it was 4.44am, gave in and got up)it seems like the perfect time to start a LiveJournal.
So here we are, the deflowering entry.
Well, I had to get up early anyways, I have to be in the lab for 8am so that I can start an experiment up.
I don't know why I can't sleep. I was tired when I went to bed. Have been havinig strange thought tracks, but I guess that comes from 3 hours sleep. Mainly involving ice cream, and if it is a good deal economically to buy an in ice cream maker by thinking about how much I eat in comparison to the initial outlay costs of the machine and ingredient costs. Then it went to Ebay, and could I get one cheap off there? And while I was there, I'd get myself and MP3 player, and maybe a new keyboard as the 'P' key on this one is showing very abberant behaviour.
And then I started thinking of if you could suspend yourself in the air via the use of a sleeping bag and helium balloons, which was inspired by a conversation I had last night.
Quite how the jump from keyboard to this ocurred, I'm not sure.
Btw, though I'm not listening to it really (as it would wake up my brother, who lives with me) 'Space Oddity' is on constant repeat in my head. Major Tom has made the grade about 20 times now.
Well, I apologise for the username. Not brilliant, but all the really good ones appear to have been taken already. And I really wanted 'Mazikeen' or 'Morningstar' too! Looks like I'm not the only 'Lucifer' freak out there. Which frankly is a good thing, as it's a fantastic comic.
Yay - my friend Russ is buying me a ticket to go and see Eric Clapton in May. Cool.
I like gigs very much - I'm seeing A Perfect Circle, Blink-182 and the Lost Prophets soon. Now, I know LP are one of those bands that you're supposed to love or hate, but I am honestly in the middle. I think I'll have a definite answer after I've seen them live.
Anyways, I'm leaving now in search of ice-cream makers.
Toodle-Pip.
