In other, happier news...
A lot has been going on since my last informative post. My roommate moved out (his job ended two weeks ago), so I'm all alone with the shotgun wielding neighbors. The birds have all stopped singing at work, so it's just hours and hours of sitting around right now. I fill the time by reading. I feel so literate right now

Just kidding. I was thinking about you this morning (or was it yesterday?) and how it was seriously becomming way overdue for me to give you a ring because I was tapped for Amber goss. And yes I realize I have about 400 people whom I've been meaning to call every day for the last 3 months (among them Jacki and Lise), but you were still on my mind. So now I can breathe easily again, and wait to call you next month. Hopefully. Something.
Well, well, well, aren't we cool? Are you saying you plan on sticking around Austin even before you start grad school? I'm so excited for you that your professional networking has finally gotten you somewhere. This is all very very cool. And I am soooooooooo coming to visit; yes, I keep saying it, but this buys me at least a teensy bit more time. I will make it happen. Argh.
You didn't watch the "So You Think You Can Dance" finale last night, did you? Good stuff. We bought tickets for the live tour last weekend; got 'em maybe 5 minutes before they sold out. Crazy crazy. This one's gonna be hott.
