It has begun.
Well everything went great on Thursday. Jury trumped me by spending all 3,000 in about 1 1/2 hours. God damn tower records being right next to tilly's. We had a blast skydiving. We ended up doing it twice. Dinner was cool and dancing was ok, I'm not a big fan of salsa dancing but it was Jury's night. But night surfing was entirely too much fun. The only thing that kind of threw the evening off was an odd conversation. That only came up though because I made my decision about the band. Alex decided he can just sign up for his last semester again later and decided he wanted to go for it. At that point I kind of felt I had to do it, otherwise I'd be letting down their hopes and dreams as well. So tomorrow we all fly out to New York, Jury included, to sign our contract. After that we have a litlle over a month to get our affairs in order because our tour starts on June 6th in LA and ends Febuary 19th in New York. Then after that its back to LA for recording and then back on the road to promote the new album. Now the odd questions was whether or not Jury can still be with women while I'm out on tour. I knew the question of her being with girls while I'm gone would come up eventually, but it still caught me off gaurd. So I decided I'd throw her off to and said that she gets to be with other girls then so do I. I should explain that we have a very open sex life. I knew when I married her that she still liked girls and wanted to be with thme as well, and I'm ok with that. The thing is that while she has been with other girls since we've been married, I've always been there. I think it's that fact that she is being intimate with someone else while I'm not there bothers me. Well at that point we both pattled our boards in and talk about this seriously, no more goofing around. I know that Jury is going to do this while I'm gone. She thinks I should act the part on the road. So we came to this agreement. We can both be with other girls while I'm gone, but we have to call and get the other's permission before doing anything. Considering the oddness of the situation, I think the whole situation is still weird but I'll go with it. The band is going into the studio to record a few more tracks this week, that way we have a full length CD to sell at concerts. This is all on our dime though, because technically our album won't be recorded til after the tour. I've also gotta pay the rent and bills up for the next 8 months that way Jury doesn't have to worry about it. Thats about it for now.
