A Thank You Letter

I thank you Lord for every breath.
Every sound and every scent
Every sight and moment spent
That I am still alive

What a fool one must be
to beg of you and plea
for useless things for greed
this You must despise

Even when life is filled with pain
my faith in you will still remain
my love and trust will sustain
this i find most wise

So I ask nothing of You on this day
instead i pray to You in thanks
that only by your good grace....
