December update - or week 49-01 in instagrams
I haven’t updated in a while so here comes all of December in one update.
I had an idea that I’d have a nice relaxing December, but it turned out differently. Having finished my Lyreco project I thought I would have some time to do lots of home projects and really get into the Christmas spirit before moving on to the next project.
I’m a long time fan of the store called Superhelten (Superhero) based in Copenhagen. They sell toys and merchandise both in the store and online. The owner Benjamin is a passionate nerd and collector of statues. When the last 2 Star Wars film came out he arranged special screenings. His passion for what he does shines through and it’s hard to resist. So when he needed some Christmas assistance I signed up. It’s not like anything I’ve ever done before. Helping out in the store. Making sure everyone got just the right Christmas present for their loved ones. It’s hard not to get happy. In 2019 they’re updating their webpage and onlineshop and hopefully I can help with that as well. Store hours how ever differ from our normal family rutine so I start late and get home later than everybody else. So some days I don’t get to see the others much.
J and A both got sick during December so it was hard handling everything on top of working a lot. Luckily David and I went free.
For Christmas Eve it was my turn to cook and I must say this year the turkey and every thing was better than ever before.

Last week we had a blind tasting of chips. Today we had it with “vaniljekranse” (Christmas cookies) - Since it is December - The kids loved the cheepest and most dry ones from Netto. J - as we all know - is much more affected and chose the freshly baked from Skt Peders bakery ❤️🎄

J and I went to Henry Rollins Travel Slideshow tonight. He showed pictures from his travels around the world and told stories to go along with them. It was very entertaining and inspiring. Exploring the world with a great curiosity it was great food for thought 👌🏻

To play Miami Dolphins in Miami is Patriots kryptonite. Out af the last 6 games in Miami Pats have lost 5. Today Pats was even up by 5 points with 6 sec. left. But they played too conservatively and the Dolphins pulled a miraculous TD out of the bag

Week 50
Great Christmas training session for all the Jinzen Do dojos. As an added bonus it turned out I was graduated. Totally unexpected and now I’m the proud owner of 8 kuy (blue belt). As that wasn’t enough I got an early Christmas pressent - the club track suit (mainly given to those who do a lot of tournaments) for hard work and great team spirit. I’m so proud and very honoured ❤️🥋👊🏻 Osu 🙏🏻

Week 51
Patriots played the Steelers last night and lost 17-10. They are now 9-5. They haven’t had 5 loses in a season since 2009. I didn’t watch the entire game but what I did see didn’t look pretty at all

David’s class was at SMK (museum) yesterday to make nativity scenes. David made the sheep in the back. They have also made guardian angels. David told me his eats money and the poops out even more money. Not a bad guardian angel to have around Christmas ❤️🎄

It hasn’t been the Christmas eve I’d expected waking up feeling really sick. But I was allowed to sleep in before all the dinner prep and watching “It’s A Wonderful Life”. The boys think I’m a bit crazy for crying during the movie. Luckily J’s on my team. The food was prefect. So was the presents. The boys tested several of them along the way. My 9 best according to you. I’m always surprised with the result. I know cats are popular and who doesn’t love a cat in a manger around Christmas? Birthdays and weddings are clearly popular as well.
