joined a gay wrestling club last night. check it:
http://www.ggwc.org/ My first wrestling class:
showed up and the first guy i met was injured in the spring from competing.
the second guy i met was the instructor. he wasn't injured.
the third guy i met had his fingers taped an a scab on his forehead (which later got re-cut and he bled on the mat and the instructor--don't worry, they cleaned the mat right up with what looked like disinfectant)
the fourth guy i met came in on crutches. wrestling injury.
the fifth guy i met had to sit out due to an injury
the sixth guy i met was an instructor, i think. sat out due to injury.
the odds of injury seem to be up there. not too keen on that idea, but really keen on the wrestling!
so there were three of us on the mat. the second instructor guy and the third with the taped fingers and bloody head.
we started out stretching then did these exercises where we crawled on our bellies along the mat like bugs. front ward, backward, in circles, sideways. then they showed me some basic defense from those bug positions. lie on the belly and don't let them turn you over. elbows up, hold yourself steady. scurry, give dead weight. sqirm, wiggle, more dead weight. i think i might be good at this. i even learned a little how to take someone down. this is so hot!
oh, and have i ever been so sore? that workout is some serious shit!
funny thing. i think i was just one of the guys until the guy with the taped fingers reached between my legs to flip me and there was nothing guy like there. i think he noticed. i'm pretty damn sure he noticed because his forearm went flat against my crotch. later i think i caught him sneaking a peak down there. the instructor knows i'm trans, but i'm pretty sure he didn't have time to tell that to anyone. seems that i'm the only trans guy in the club. never know if people reveal that shit anyway. sooo... i'll surely have to come out before i show up in a singlet. don't like confusing people. *sigh*
so yep, yer pal is a gay wrestler.
anyone wanna join?
