I'm very proud to announce that our spring cleaning over here has been finished. Granted, we have to actually build the garden ourselves, as the previous occupants didn't have any flowerbeds or vegetable patches at all, but that's technically not cleaning. Therefore, I still have you beat.

You could have just borrowed Father's lawnmower instead of trying to fix it. He'd happily repair yours, and I bet Rikku would try to supercharge it or do something to it.

Did Pedro get loose again? I tell you, I hate that dog with an unnatural fury. Perhaps we should address the issue at the next Neighbourhood Association meeting?

Someone on the roof...I've seen an odd person walking aimlessly down the lane sometimes. He's not related to any of the other people here, and no one claims him, I think. But in any case, it's good to hear you're all right. Borrow my hard hat next time you're on a ladder like that, just in case.

Heaven forbid, no flower beds or vegetable patches. You're all old already. Time to retire, old man :P

I'm not a total failure with mechanics, you know. Fran doesn't do all of the repair work on the Strahl, especially not now being the size of a cruise liner... I managed to get it fixed, but not before it buzz-jolted me and gave me a face-full of clippings.

That's the one. I never seem to get that infernal hound's name. And I don't think we can quite address your irrational hatred of a neighbourhood dog at a Neighbourhood Association meeting... hang on, there's a Neighbourhood Association? Never knew that...

Some little skunk of a human being... who perches atop your roof in wait, hoping for a chance to potentially kill or seriously injure you? Had the bloody sun not been shining in my eyes, I would have seen his damn face...

There's nothing wrong with having a proper garden. Aeris is the best gardener I've seen, and I promised her a garden.
I don't intend on retiring for quite some time, thank you.

I know, but you know how Father is with mechanical things. However, I'm glad you didn't lose a finger or two.

I can request that they repair their blasted wreck of a fence, for starters. He escapes from that all of the time and they have yet to do anything about it.
There is a Neighbourhood Association, but I think they don't send us the flyers with the meeting dates and time because all of us Wilkinsons combined could potentially outvote them on issues.

I don't get a chance to have a good look at him, either. I just know something about him's not quite right.

But you aren't gardening, are you? Your mother gave you a potted plant once and it was dead inside two weeks. It died before your goldfish did! Then again, that was some time ago...

I checked. All fingers and thumbs are accounted for!

I had no idea that there was a Neighbourhood Association... is it essentially a gaggle of old people coming together every month to whine and moan about the state of the place?

He was on my roof and he pushed me off. Of course there's something wrong with him!

No, I'm just going to landscape it. The very least I can do for her is dig holes, pour cement, and haul dirt and rock.
I distinctly remember the goldfish being suicidally inclined. It's not my fault it wedged itself in the filter, nor is it my fault that after I rescued it, it decided to jump over and say hello to your betta.

Good. I know you aspire to be Captain Hook, but I think going too far with the method acting would not be the best idea.

Essentially, yes. It's more of a social function than anything, mum says they voted several times to have something done about you and I when we were younger, and nothing came out of that.

Yes, I figured. I'll keep an eye out for him tomorrow, I might be able to get a better look at him.
