In my hand, I hold the most amazing, beautiful, intelligent thing to ever grace us with its presence...my new PSP. And it's better than all the other PSP simply because it's mine. I decided last week I wanted to buy one, and I've been hellbent on getting one ever since. Yesterday I called mom and told her to take $$ out the account that I worked so hard to build up this summer, just to get this thing. We stopped by Circuit City on the way home. Dude said they had 3 in stock. I told him I'd take 2 and his jaw dropped. I told him I was just kidding and he rang me up. As I'm counting out $260+ ($250+Tax) I felt the need to declare that I hate Sony. And he laughed so hard. I didn't think it was THAT funny...but I did walk in there with this dazed look on my face, with my eyes shinning bright, and the minute I started counting out those $20's, my face fell and my eyes grew dark...you would think I was paying for a whore that I had just discovered had herpes. *sigh* BUT ALAS, this gorgeous piece of ass, I mean technology, is MINE! Now I just gotta buy some games to play on it. Pssh. HAHAHAHA!
I have to have my room completely packed by the end of the week, says mom. She wants it packed for the big move AND for school. Which is great considering I'm not going back to school until the 21!!! Doesn't everyone love living out of boxes. And we're not moving till September, but she knows I'm not coming back to do it, and she doesn't wanna do it.
Kenwood tonight for their pre-band camp rehearsal. Should be exciting.
Lee -- I gotta letter from the AA&CC. The performance I wanted you to go to takes place on August 27 @ 7:30pm. So if you can, please leave that night open. It's a Saturday. I have band camp at Towson, but I'm gonna leave a couple hours early. It says after the performance, they're having an exclusive members reception. I think part of my benefits is that I'm allowed to bring one guest with me to things like this, but I'm not sure. If I can't bring you, then we'll just leave. I have band camp the next morning anyway. Also, tickets for us are free. It says they're having 'intense drumming contests' in the show. WOO! Mmk, well, get back to me on that.
