To anyone that owns or is considering buying a PS3...

A guy I know from an online forum recently got back his PS3 that he had sent in for disc drive repairs last month, only instead of fixing the console, they sent him a brand new one.  How does he know this?  It has a new hard drive, meaning that he's lost all of his saved games on it, including the 100+ hours worth of save data he had poured into Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and he'll need to transfer all of his PS2 memory card data all over again.

So yeah, be careful if your console decides to break on you.
