May 1st always seems to be a turning point of personal and world events.
On the personal scene :: Today is the
Spring 2006 CSS Reboot, or it will be if the Rebbot site can
stay online. It is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m. on the East coast, 10:00 a.m. on the West coast, 6:00 p.m. in London and 3:00 a.m. in Sydney, Australia. I have
two sites rebooting,
MagickDream and my art site
St.Parker's Wyrd Art, so come by check them out and
vote Look on page 3 for St.Parker's Wyrd Art and page 8 for MagickDream.
To date, I have nine submissions in the Six Apart
Style Contest. They have introduced a layout change in the past few days, so it is unclear if I will be spending the next week getting my designs to work in the new layout, or doing my last (10th) submission.
On a very personal note, my friend
Lori's father was in an accident, my thoughts are with her, and her family.
On the US scene :: The
DOW has reached a six year high 11,428.37 in the first few hours of trade, can it stay there?
Millions expected to join walkout to support immigrants and Joseph Biden the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee's top Democrat said that
Iraq should be divided into three largely autonomous regions.
On the world scene ::
Europeans hold May Day protests,
Israel's new government prepares to take office, and
Mexico Passes Law Making Possession of Some Drugs Legal.
