EPISODE/APPEARANCE GUIDE.

Nov 01, 2011 02:38

DBGT is an incredibly long, and not super well-known series, by which I mean that a lot of people know of it but a lot less have seen it. Mostly because it's so long, though, I decided to go through while canon reviewing and make notes on each episode. Most of them are Pan-centric, since that's obviously who I RP, but as I went along I got more and more broad, basically writing down whatever I liked, haha. So far it covers the first half of the series- episodes 1-33. Eventually I'll expand it at least through to her canon point (the end of the Baby Saga), and possibly also include her scarse DBZ appearances, mostly because she was a cute kid!

Introduction aside, henceforth are the notes!

episode one:
- Y'know, I think I can see the enhancements right off. It's very colorful, in a nice way. Things seem brighter and sharper than I remember. Okay but anyway, I'm only going to really take note of things relevant to (playing) Pan so I'm skipping a lot of stuff.
- So Goku says "I'm going back home" and immediately detours to go eat Chinese food instead. GOOD JOB GOKU.
- "Pan-chan, you're so cute, and kind and graceful." Plus Printing-kun is the one who asked her out. She wants to go see a romance movie with him… he's blushing and she's more casual about it all. And speaking much more politely than usual…
- Momentary :| face when she's called a kid, but she doesn't react more than that. "Now I'm annoyed! I'm definitely going to that movie!" She's actually using fairly polite speech as she talks to everyone. Except she immediately changes to ruder speak when lecturing Goku about getting involved… AND SHE DROPS HIM HAHA. What a nice girl.
- …Did she just call them "Bank robber ojisan-tachi?" And Goku "chibi-kun?" HAHAHA. But that said, she's pretty much like "just let your nee-san take care of this," and tries to escort him away. She's being a little short tempered but clearly her heart is on the side of good.
- ALSO: This pretty much proves she's physically older than Goku right now, since he's physically 10-12 and she's calling herself his "older sister." SHE'S FOURTEEN, FANDOM. GET OVER IT.
- THROWS GOKU AWAY WITHOUT MISSING A STEP she's actually pretty cool in this fight.
- "I've been dumped again!!" she tears up and yells.
- Totally blushes at Roshi's pervertedness and stands around looking angry. HAHA she also totally moves away from him.
- "You're kidding, right? That little kid can't possibly be my…" HAHA SHE USES ATASHI. THAT IS HER PRONOUN. "Iyaa iyaa!"
- "So you're Pan, huh? No wonder you were so awesome!" Awww.
- Pretty much from this point on, Pan stops being polite to him. She's avoiding standing too close to him and keeps commenting how weird it is.

episode two:
- Trunks those are such hipster glasses I don't even. Also speaking of Trunks the little character biographies that came with the DVD were like "he is the backbone of the team, keeping them in line and on track!" and I was like "you mean the adult" and "oh he's the heart."
- Pan teases Goten about his new new girlfriend, and he yells at her. She seems to usual her casual language with him (and vice versa), calling him Goten-ojichan.
- When Pan finds out Gohan wants to go, she's immediately like "then Pan is going to! Pan wants to go!" She switches back to 1st person as soon as she's rejected. So she really does only use 3rd person when she's trying to be cute…
- She does it again with Videl later. "Pan's here to help!"
- She gets frustrated when she isn't allowed to help out/is talked down to. She's pretty annoyed with Goku and snaps at him, but it's possibly her bad mood leaching out onto him. And him being annoying (to her).
- Aaaaand then she beats up everyone in Mr Satan's dojo. "Pan-chan, you're being particularly harsh today, aren't you?"
- The kidnappers thinking Goku must be Trunks's secret love child still cracks me up. So does the total lack of concern everyone has about it. "Oh, you got Goku? Feel free to keep him."
- "For sure! They're so rude!" Also she and Mr Satan are just besties. "Grandpa Satan, there's no difference between a baby and an angel!" And she keeps drinking black coffee even though she hates it.
- Hahahahahahaha Vegeta dragging Goten and Trunks by their collars just never makes me stop laughing. And Goten and Trunks's awful excuses to get out of it.
- Everyone assumes Pan was hanging out with Bra, but… "Geez, you guys are late! I was getting tired of waiting!"

episode three:
- Pan is clearly enjoying herself playing keep-away with Trunks. Goku just doesn't care at all. When Trunks fakes dead she gets concerned and falls for the trick, but pretty quickly shoves the key down her shirt haha.
- Apparently it's been a week since the launch, plus another 2-3 days since the wish was made.
- Pan is enthusiastically assigning chores and doing the cleaning and bossing everyone around.
- "Ne, Trunks?" "Now look, it doesn't matter or anything, but can't you at least call me Trunks-san?" "If it doesn't matter, then what's wrong with Trunks?"
- Pan: I don't want to die! I've never been even been on a date that's finished!
Goku: What do we do about gathering the Dragonballs?
Pan: My dates are way more important than that! I want to go back to Earth!
Trunks: We're going to land safely, don't worry, Pan-chan!
Pan: Don't kid me! I want my Papa!
- She spends the scene yelling and crying but still manages to snap at Trunks at one point, oops. ALSO TRUNKS YOU ARE AWFUL AT LANDING.
- She cheers up once they're at the bazaar though, and makes a beeline for some cute necklaces and stuff.
- Pan wears a pink bathrobe and towel… she is so girly…
- "I wish I hadn't come into space after all!" "You're the one who decided it on her own…" "I know! That's why I'm so angry!" "Then why are you taking it out on me?"
- When complaining about the cold/rain, she reverts to 3rd person again.
- Trunks tries to lecture her on her bluntness, but it works out for her this time.

episode four:
- She starts off sort of practical, tying up Gil and being like "let's get going, no time to waste!", but even so she's like… Grandpa is so annoying!!
- She's really much calmer- "Be careful," and talking about reasons and security and stuff. She's so busy talking about stuff like that with Trunks that she ignores Goku… then Pan leads the charge sneaking to the ship.
- "Should I beat them up?" "If you do that all the guards from around the palace will come in, and it will be a big mess. You can't solve everything with force!" Practical Pan… and then she gets hit with a can of soda and starts crying……… she calms down pretty fast but then TRUNKS gets hit with a rock and Gil starts beeping. STILL, what a crybaby, geez.
- And then she calmly explains that now they fight because they've been discovered. Goku wonders why since earlier she was all about secrecy, but she explains that's useless now and they have to go "case by case." Pan is actually kind of cool when she's on her game…
- She also can't drive at all.
- Trunks teases her about her bad driving leading to the ship getting banged up, and she blushes and says he's just being mean. Doesn't get mad though.
- She gets really offended by her wanted poster not looking like her/making her look crazy and evil.
- She does not hesitate the elbow Gil hard SHE DOES NOT LIKE GIL.

episode five:
- Goku: "Are you really that heavy? Are you getting fat from skipping training lately?" Pan: "I'm not fat! I've grown!"
- Pan gets really upset when she hears about how bad the citizens have it, so she decides for everyone that they're going to confront the bad guys directly! Goku is like AWESOME, and Trunks is more like HANG ON GUYS.
- Pan gets captured and kind of tortured by some kind of beam thingy.
- Pan's first reaction to Don Kia promising to do anything is "okay! Let's save the people!" And she keeps being the main speaking character when it comes to this stuff.
- Pfff Trunks is all nice to Gil and lectures Pan about AI having feelings just like people. Pan really does not buy it at alllllll.
- They finally leave Immega! By the progression of day and night, I'd guess they'd been there maybe a week? Making it have been two weeks in all.

episode six:
- Trunks is still incapable of landing the ship. Pan lectures him on it- "there's a lady on board!"- but he pretty much just says sorry and takes it in stride. Why are you so polite, Trunks…
- Pan gets jealous that Goku gets to fly around outside, so she's like PAN IS GOING, TOO! And Trunks gets a migraine but that's just life.
- Pan dresses up like a bee and gets all happy because she thinks she looks cute and "feels like she might become a bug." Goku doesn't compliment her and she gets offended… then runs off to play with butterflies. She really like bugs… Even when she gets kidnapped by bees, she's more alarmed that they're kidnapping her than that they're bees…
- "Geez, Trunks is as big of a worrywart as ever…" HAHAHAHA. When Pan screams, Trunks is like WE NEED TO SAVE HER, even though Goku is like "whatever, she's fine."
- Pan is fine with bugs but she is totally freaked out by the idea of larva. But when it turns out to be a RIDICULOUSLY MOE BABY BEE she just wants to hug them.
- "These things get fixed when you hit them!" /hits Gil.
- IYAAAAAAA!! Pan refuses to dig through giant shit to find a dragon ball, and is outright like THE EARTH CAN EXPLODE, I DON'T CARE.
- Pan has never seen a Dragonball before now, and thinks it's super pretty. She's also being a hell of a lot nicer to Gil now that he's useful.

episode seven:
- Which ends immediately when Gil starts eating stuff in the ship.
- This is like the second time Pan has complained that Goku has "no sense of anxiety at all."
- Pan once again offers their services in order to get a dragonball, and then lies blatantly! "On our planet, Grandpa and Trunks are the number one and number two strongest people! And I, although I hate to say it, am number three! Right?" And when Trunks starts to list all the stronger people, Pan is like "shut up we have to exaggerate!"
- Pan also is the one who comes up with the cross dressing plan. And then makes Goku wear the wedding dress. Then since he is too short… Trunks, naturally! She never offers or tries, mind you. And she seems to seriously enjoy putting makeup on Trunks. Well, who wouldn't? This is the second time she's come up with the entire plan though- and both times they've been more based on 'sneakiness' than 'brute force.'
- N- nice hips Trunks. HE IS SO BAD AT ACTING LIKE A WOMAN…

episode eight:
- I just noticed that in the OP, there's a bit that goes "There are time when I get so that I want to look back/just a little bit/but holding on to love and courage and pride I hold on," and it's pretty perfectly synced up with Goku's face on 'love,' Pan's on 'courage,' and Trunks's on 'pride.' I wonder if that's intentional? It would be cool if it was! Heh, so Pan is 'courage…'
- Pan that is not a convincing disguise at all.
- Pan, that disguise is not much better.
- UWAAAAAA she gets REALLY FREAKED when Goku takes off his clothes to go swimming, calls him a pervert, and threatens to tell Chi-Chi on him. And then kicks Gil into a tree."Besides, when you were a baby, we always took baths together, didn't we?"
"You're lying!"
"It ain't a lie…"
"But that was when I was a baby! Now I've become an upstanding lady, so I wish you'd be more careful!"
Gross Grandpa.
- "Is Goku-san really your grandfather, Pan-san?" "As embarrassing as it is, yes." HAHA.
- Trunks pretending to be a girl is like the funniest thing ever I am sorry.
- man Trunks you have a really lovely waistline, I'm kind of jealous. "The truth is, I'm a man!," he says so proudly.
- Pan is the one that figures out Zunama is predicting, not causing earthquakes, before any of the others do.
- HAHAHAHA TRUNKS THAT IS A CLASSY PUNCH I kind of have a crush on you suddenly what is this.

episode nine:
- "Hey, Trunks, they're getting away!" "I'm giving it all we've got, but the other ship is too high-performance. It must have been built by someone with a great deal of intelligence." "You mean, they're going to get away from us?" "It's all right! I can manage to cover our difference in performance with technique!" "…Technique? Trunks, you said this was the first spaceship you've ever piloted!" "D- don't bring that up right now!" And then Pan calls him 'always unreliable,' but mostly: HAHAHA.
- So then Trunks avoids killing them and gets all YEAH BECAUSE I HAVE GREAT TECHNIQUE and as he's laughing in victory they get smashed by an astroid… "Trunks! Next time you get cocky about performance, I'm going to let you have it!" HAHAHAHA I cannot stop laughing I love this. I kind of really love their weird foils dynamic- Pan is way more assertive and bossy and thoughtless, he's more reasonable and intelligent and pragmatic. And Goku is just optimistic and happy and goes with the flow.

episode ten:
- Pan is just incapable of being in a spaceship without it lifting off, I guess?

episode eleven:
- "Flea-bitten robot-" Pan that doesn't work there is no such thing as robot fleas. "We may not like one another but we have to cooperate, got it?" And then she starts threatening him while Gil starts going PAN IS DANGEROUS. So she threatens him more…
- Pan seems to get better at not crying when something hits her, although it still annoys her. She also remembered she can fly before she hit the ground! Progress!
- "You're not about to let a fragile young lady go off by her own, are you?" And then she gets mad at Gil calling her dangerous constantly, which is admittedly annoying.
- Meanwhile Gil and Trunks are besties…
- HAHAHA Pan steals the Dragonball and runs off while the bad guy is in the middle of his speech. SMART MOVE. And then she gets turned into a doll.
- Gil steps on Pan's face… she's like I SWEAR REVENGEEEEE. Also while mentally calling for help, she refers to herself in third person- she hasn't been doing that much lately.

episode twelve:
- Okay, all the stuff playing with Pan-doll is really kind of incredibly creepy. But hahaha "This guy is a doll otaku…"
- But seriously, "let's change your clothes," this is creepy. Also, "no one will want to take me as a wife," wow, it's nice to see Pan is also aware of the severe rape overtones here. And by nice I mean CREEPY AS HELL.
- also this was one of the "ugly animation team" episodes, it's kind of sad. There's this one animation team where everyone is drawn off model and ugly, every 5-6 episodes.

episode thirteen:
- A RETURN TO PRETTY ANIMATION!!
- And the creepiness returns with a VENGEANCE. I find it interesting that they keep calling him an otaku, like, "yep, this is what Japanese people think otaku are like." AND IT'S TRUE. Meanwhile, anyway, Pan is pretty much threatening to kill him violently.
- That all said, I find it cute/interesting that the outfit picked out for Pan is basically a Chinese dress and that Chinese two-buns hairstyle. Cute because it is, and also because despite being a Japanese series, the story is based on a Chinese myth and Goku's family especially has always been pretty Chinese-influenced- look at their house and Chi-Chi's general style.

episode fourteen:
- And then Pan basically slaps the hell out of Dolltacki.
- Pan leads the inside-rescue crew, rallies the people, and gets the Don-Para Brothers to help. As usual, using her bossiness as leadership. Once again too she is the one to find the solution, but in this case it's more like "she was around the guy who knew the answer and the others weren't," so I can't give her full credit.
- She gets really impatient and angry at everyone until she figures out how to get things going, and then suddenly gets all SUPER CUTE when she asks everyone to help. And then can't help but get all smart about how dumb the Don Para Brothers are…
- Oh then she runs over and hugs Goku, that's so cute. It's the first time she's done anything like that, too! Cute……
- And then she kicks Gil. Of course.

episode fifteen:
- This is a much more Pan-centric episode than usual. I say "than usual" because so far Trunks hasn't had a single viewpoint episode or adventure by himself, and- battles aside- neither has Goku. Seriously, I would argue Pan is the main character of GT, we barely even get the other two's OPINIONS most of the time.
- Pan is cooking dinner. Her thoughts: "I think I need to add a little bit more sugar." Gil comments that there's too much sugar, salt, and fat and that he's trying to help her make good food; Pan gets mad that he's saying her food is bad and then beats him up as usual until Gil says her cooking is the best ever.
- Pan overhears Trunks and Goku talking; Trunks suggests that because things will be more dangerous soon, they go back to Earth, drop Pan off, and bring Goten instead. Goku says he doesn't care either way, which upsets Pan just as much. Trunks tries to justify it by explaining things can't be taken as a game anymore, doesn't she understand? No, she doesn't!, Pan yells, throws an egg at him, and runs away.
- She's really upset they're trying to get rid of her; Gil tries to comfort her. "I really don't want any sympathy!" she yells, and threatens to punch him. Why so tsun, Pan… she decides punching him wouldn't make her feel better.
- All three of them decide the new planet is too hot and they should take a break before doing anything two seconds after leaving the spaceship, NICE PLAN. They're suddenly attacked by a sand monster that Pan is just too slow to dodge, and therefore she doesn't join in the fight at all.
- Pan tries to help out and Trunks is pretty much like "go play in the spaceship." Goku also tells her to "go play" somewhere else, and she gets angry and runs off on her own, saying that she "hates them both."
- Pan's umbrella is pink. YET AGAIN, GIRLY.
- Pan is out of water, hot, exhausted, and lost. She decides she wants to go back, but, she's lost. So.
- O- oh Gil just called Pan "nakama" that's so cute.
- The animation is really good in this episode!! A lot more detail than usual! You know, Trunks is lovely and all, and him shirtless is not bad, but I'm just not into super-ridiculously muscled guys… if he was just a little less so… …
- Okay that scene with Dolltaki's murder was much more effectively creepy than this series usually gets. Talking about killing the group while the corpse lies in the background, the camera slowly panning over to it so that the action is in the background… …
- Pan's trying to fight a sandworm but is too overheated/dehydrated to. She calls for Trunks and Goku to save her… and Gil does instead! Of course Gil sucks at it, but Pan is touched that he's trying to save her and calling her "nakama" despite her usual abuse of him, even as she passes out.
- She has a dream where she sees her parents/Grandpa Satan, and Trunks and Goku. She apologizes to them, wondering if she's dead.
- Gil finds water, beats up the worm, and finds a Dragonball! He saves Pan and she sobs and hugs him. Then Trunks and Goku find them, and she calls out in happiness and cries some more.
- "I am just a burden, aren't I?" she's talking to herself, but Trunks comes over! "That's not true at all. You found the Dragon Ball, and the oasis, didn't you?"
"But Gil's the one who-"
"-I think Gil found them for you, Pan-chan. Right, Gil? Pan-chan, I'm sorry. I didn't think about your feelings when I was talking about trading you for Goten. I take back what I said about returning to Earth."
"You mean, it's okay for me to come along?"
"Of course you can! We're all nakama after all! From here on, let's all join our strengths and work together!"
Trunks seems to be trying really hard to cheer her up, ALSO THAT WAS REALLY MOE TRUNKS, and Pan gets kind of teary again. Before she can really react, Goku sneaks up behind them and sends a tidal wave at them both… and then Pan yells at him and chases him around. Meanwhile Gil is like "Gil did it all to get her to stop punching me," and Trunks cracks up. BEST NAKAMA.

episode fifteen:
- Pan is playing and loses a video game against Gil. SHE IS VERY COMPETITIVE OVER THIS. She has lost fifty times and is just like ONE MORE TIME, I WILL WIN!! Trunks suggests losing on purpose to make Pan happy, but Gil beats her anyway. Pan says her controller just wasn't working, okay!
- She tackles him and he seems to break, which she feels bad about.
- Goku why are you sleeping in Trunks's bed, Trunks why are you chewing his foot.
- Anyway, Pan feels bad because Gil seems to be homesick, so she goes into cute mode and tries to convince Trunks to visit Gil's planet. Trunks is all "Fine, geez!", he really isn't thrilled with this plan. Pan hugs him and Goku in thanks.
- Pan gets moderately sarcastic at Gil's denials of knowing what is going on, but basically believes him. Her first priority is finding food, although she's finally having realistic expectations about it!
- She's definitely crying less when she gets injured.
- Pan gets really angry when she is told Gil betrayed them all, and immediately runs in for a charge without thinking. Trunks knocks her out of the way and he and Goku get captured again… meaning that this is like the third or fourth Pan Viewpoint Episode where she is the hero hahahaha.

episode sixteen:
- Pan stop trying to hide in shrubs. You are admittedly getting better at making shrub hideouts, except that this is a robot city WITH NO PLANTLIFE.
- Pan tries to hold back on crying when she gets stomped by robots, but eventually gives up and beats one up. THEN IT'S TIME FOR SNEAKING AROUND. And okay yeah she is significantly less whiny than a few months ago. I'm guessing it's been at least 2, maybe 3?
- Once again Pan finds herself in the right place at the right time to listen in on the bad guys! In this case, watching Gil get rewarded for bringing Goku's group in for capture. Pan gets really mad he tricked them/her about coming here! She manages to figure out the situation, but can't give her too much credit due to luck + right place/right time, and she's of normal intelligence so really, NOT THAT HARD.
- I think Gil eats just as much as Goku. This is saying something.
- So Pan has been running around disguised as a robot for a while now, which worked well until for a while, but eventually she got caught… and it's more exposition time! Pan has been making a point of saying "I have to save Grandpa" and "have you seen Grandpa?" I don't think she's mentioned Trunks once, haha.
- Pan sheds her disguise for SAIYAN BRUTE FORCE. She seems to be much more proficient in ki-attacks than punching and kicking and ESPECIALLY defense. Not that she isn't punching holes in steel walls or anything. Her opponent can read her moves and says he knows her "tricks," which is basically a hit and run and evade and dodge fighting style, plus ki attacks.
- When she finds out again that Gil betrayed her/them, she gets really upset. And being Gohan's kid, it's never a great idea to do that! She uses her… one special move that has no name and one-shots the robot. "Girls, you see, get stronger when they're crying!" Pfff.
- Gil is flashing back to an exchange between Trunks and Pan that is cute (I have no idea, are they friends? like siblings? what? But they have a great dynamic)- Trunks wants to feed Gil a 'tasty' bit of machinery, Pan is like 'robots do not taste.' "Pan-chan, you're sure the realist, aren't you?" "Of course. I am a girl after all." Also Trunks you are totally trying to be besties with Gil this is so endearing.
- Goku: "Trunks, you know, he really thought about Gil as a friend! And Pan… she…" (image of Pan threatening to kill Gil) "really loves Gil!" HAHAHA GOKU SEES THROUGH THE TSUNDERE he is so awesome.
- Anyway Pan busts into the room! Aaaaaaand her defenses are still awful and she has no guard at all.

episode seventeen:
- O- oh it's the ugly animation team everyone is so ugly now. Pan has been knocked out by her UTTER LACK OF GUARD, so Goku is mad. And okay it is nice to see Goku acting, uh, his age/serious/leaderly, since usually he's so "go with the flow."
- So Trunks brings Pan back to the ship and she comes to soon after.
- One of the things I find so amusing about all these fights is that it is so very clear that Goku isn't even TRYING, and yet all the enemies are like YEAH WE ARE THE STRONGEST I SEE YOU LOSING. Also grabbing a spinning drill with both hands has got to hurt, no matter how strong you are.
- Meanwhile, Trunks and Pan are arguing- Pan wants to come along to fight, and Trunks is like, "no way, you're too weak." Pan gets annoyed with that, possibly more for the implication that she'll 'be in the way,' but before they go anywhere enemy arrives.

episode eighteen:
- OH PRETTY ANIMATION AGAIN. Anyway, the enemy arrives and Goku is in serious mode which is always cool. Apparently Rild is stronger than Buu. Trunks is like YEAH LET'S GO and Pan is just like, trying to tell him off for being allied with That Jerk Gil.
- AND THEN SHE'S COOL. Rild is super strong and Pan gets mad and punches him in the face. Trunks and Goku react like she's about to die without causing a scratch but actually she gets a few good hits in! It's more impressive that she's not even slightly intimidated. Goku: Y- you're pretty good, aren't you, Pan?…
Trunks: S- she certainly is your granddaughter, Goku-san.
Pan: How was that, Trunks? When I set about doing something, I do it. Stop treating me like such a child, okay? (HAHAHA nice rubbing in that argument)
Trunks: Ha… haha… you don't suppose she's stronger than me?
Goku: /nervous laugh.
- Now, it's pretty clear that she ISN'T stronger than Trunks, but I do kind of wonder. It seems to me like Pan has probably never gotten the proper training the others have had- I don't see Gohan doing that with her, and it seems like her main training is done with Mr Satan, after Goku took off. She also has a terrible defense/guard/NO HP. She also seems to get stronger when she's mad/upset, although she's never lost her temper like Gohan has/does. Even without ever reaching Super Saiyan she's stronger than Freeza (as later episodes will prove)-all told, I'd wager she has a LOT more potential than she's using or even aware of, but just lacks the training/discipline/Gohan Temper Flares to utilize it. I don't think she'd be able to surpass Goku/Vegeta or Gohan, of course, but I think that she could tie with Trunks and Goten, best case scenario- and that's not bad at all! (Of course, as is, not so much)
- Anyway, Rild shoots her with a beam and Trunks kicks her out of the way. This is like the second time he's done this! Then he gets Han Solo'd into a sheet of metal. Pan gets mad and punches Rild again, but this time he's prepared and knocks her away.
- Pan decides to go rescue Trunks while Goku fights Rild. She has no idea where he is, so she just decides to take the brute force route and force her way into the building. She doesn't bother hiding or anything, just punches her way through the robots, sparing only one to demand to know where Trunks is. NGL I kind of love this episode.
- Pan arrives just in time to see Trunks get teleported away. She's really upset about this, but when she spies Gil, she gets really angry/upset at him. But then the building warps to kick her out before she can do anything.
- I love that it takes THIS LONG before Goku decides to get serious enough to go Super Saiyan. Like it is kind of ridiculous what a godmode he is.

episode nineteen:
- Pan is beating up more robots, this time to try and find and beat up Gil, but she keeps getting ejected by the warp system. Pan gets more and more annoyed and just kills more and more robots. Finally she recognizes one of them as a reject robot that gave her information a few episodes back, who gives her more info. She goes into cute mode to try and get information, but when the robot admits to not having any…… she punches him into the ceiling. "That's why you're a reject! Hmph." P- pan, you could be a little nicer he was trying to help.
- It's vaguely interesting to me that Myu refers to Goku, Pan, and Trunks equally as Saiyans, despite the fact that Trunks is half and Pan is a quarter. Also I find it interesting that no one seems to question that all these people know what Saiyans are, or are surprised about Super Saiyans…
- Pan finally finds Gil and confronts him, getting angry at his betrayal and his actions in episode 15, claiming he only saved her to bring her here to be taken by Myu like Trunks was.
- Reject Robot manages to stop the eject system, to Pan's pleasure- despite punching him, she's been traveling with him since. Very tsundere!! Gil escapes and returns with a backup group of robots with guns, which is ridiculous because Pan is immune to bullets. Anyway, she blasts forth with a kamehameha, but before she can, Gil reactivates the eject system and she's thrown out of the building. AGAIN.
- Pan is discouraged and kind of gives up for a minute, only to find one of the dragonballs! She's thrilled, but wonders why it's shown up here? After all, it was locked inside the building.

episode twenty:
- Pan interrupts the fight with Rild without realizing it (since Rild can turn into metal, she didn't see or sense him). She manages to fight him off for a moment but gets captured… and distracting Goku gets HIM captured, too. Not a shining moment in your life, Pan.
- She and Goku get teleported to Myu, where Trunks already is. Things look ominous for them, because they're about to get chopped up, but the Gil appears and turns off the machine and shoots at Myu and the other robots before announcing that the trio are his friends and it's not betraying Myu to help his friends. Then he un-Solos Goku and Pan! GIL TO THE RESCUE. Pan immediately tries to kill Gil of course, but while she's doing that, one of the robots runs off with Trunks-statue. And Pan grabs the statue back! There's a game of keep-away… that ends in the Trunks statue breaking to pieces. Which means Trunks is dead. OOPS.
- Pan starts crying and everyone else is shocked (including Myu because his precious test subject!!).
- Oh except Trunks isn't dead at all. Actually this episode is pretty much his CMOA. Trunks explains that EVERY SINGLE THING THAT'S HAPPENED HAS BEEN HIS PLAN. Goku guessed what had happened (or rather, that SOMETHING had when Trunks got turned into a statue so easily), but Pan hadn't at all.

episode twenty-one:
- Myu starts freaking out that they've discovered Baby and wow the animation is making you look very pretty today Trunks. I THINK I JUST HAVE TO ADMIT I HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM /o\ Anyway, Trunks's undercover mission has pretty much told him all about what Baby is.
- Trunks then shut off the computer developing Baby, and then tampered with the program coding. Trunks. Super cool. Myu freaks the hell out.
- Goku: Pan, you're way too biased when you get angry. HAHAHA. Because Pan keeps going "that awful person! That terrible guy! What a jerk!"
- Pan's being nice and trying to reassure Gil now. But she's still kind of happy to call him a "defective robot," haha.
- The plan was such: Gil told Trunks about Myu and his plans, and they came up with their scheme. Trunks allowed himself to be captured, and Gil stole the Dragonballs and hid them safely. When Trunks was turned into a statue, Gil freed him and replaced him with the fake. Meanwhile, Trunks hid in Myu's lab and discovered ALL HIS SECRETS (and sabotaged Baby), while Gil pretended to be a traitor. It was probably also part of the plan to eventually get Goku and Pan over there too, but it's not really stated. Baby was going to be used to take over the universe; Trunks admits it's lucky he arrived when he did because Myu is a huge genius and Baby would totally have been able to do this. GOOD THING BABY IS DEAD, RIGHT? RIGHT???
- If Myu wasn't evil, he'd… kind of be sympathetic here, though. He's REALLY freaking out, begging Baby "the only one I have" to live and not die, and even shaking with sobs. Pan: "Somehow, even I feel a little sorry for him." If only Baby wasn't, you know, an evil parasite who is going to take over the world in a few months. Goku starts checking out Baby, and Myu tells him to "get away, you disgusting Saiyan." As soon as he says "Saiyan," Baby opens his eyes…
- Baby awakens and is awesomely strong, and immediately and specifically starts targeting Saiyans, to the point that it's the only word he says. Goku gives the signal and all three of them blast Baby at once! AND BLOW HIM UP. Well, that was easy. One final scrap of Baby clings to and crawls up Myu's leg as Myu staggers into an escape pod, but surely this doesn't mean anything important, right?
- Pan gets really mad and wants to chase Myu, saying something along the lines of "you're afraid to fight with a girl," hahaha. She and Goku struggle over this for a minute, but Trunks tells her there's no need to fight Myu- he's useless without Baby- and she stops struggling. That said… Trunks, even if Baby really WAS dead, what's to stop Myu from making another planet of crazy powerful robots, or another Baby…? Even Myu points that out in his escape pod, but then Baby possesses him and kills him from the inside. OOPS. As far as villains go, I do like Baby. Baby is a creeper.

episode twenty-two:
- U- ugly animation…
- Pan compliments Gil's ship-repair skills until they go wrong, at which point she calls him defective again……
- Pan and Goku bicker a bit over food before they very quickly find a Dragonball on a nearby ship.
- Pan's spacesuit has her name on a tag, and fits her perfectly… why does she have one, she was never supposed to go into space… did they buy it somewhere? Did Bulma somehow see this coming? QUESTIONS I HAVE.
- They find the dragon ball, but Pan sees something move. She thinks someone must still be alive on the ship, and decides to chase after it. She orders Goku and Trunks to bring the ball back to the ship and takes off! Goku: "She won't listen to anyone once she's spoken. She's just like Chi-Chi." PFFF.
- Pan searches the ship, but is attacked by some kind of guard robot! Trunks, Goku, and Gil return and save her- the ship is about to crash into the sun, and they have to get out. They save the little alien kid just in time and make a run for it.
- …The space suits have the Capsule Corp logo on them… Bulma, did you somehow sense that Pan was going to need one??
- Okay this moment is just stupid. The sun has 65x Earth Gravity… making it hard for them to fly away on their space bikes. Goku just tells them to give up on the bikes and fly, which stops their trouble escaping, although Pan has slightly more trouble flying in the increased gravity. But. Guys. Vegeta has a GRAVITY ROOM. I can see Pan never using it, but Trunks has been going in there since he was like five. I feel like they should be able to handle this without any trouble at all??
- The kid they rescued is badly hurt, so they send out an emergency signal and find a planet with a hospital ready to take them in. Trunks and Pan are relieved; Goku is just happy there will be food. Pan hits him. She also escorts the kid's stretcher to the emergency room! It's cute that there seem to be a dozen or so different aliens at this hospital… technically the group counts as two other kinds of aliens… and apparently it's a planet of doctors. Goku immediately hides under a couch because he hates needles and doctors by extension; Trunks and Pan just kind of laugh. I wonder what this planet's story is, though… a planet of inter-galaxy doctors…
- Anyway the kid is possessed by Baby. NO ONE IS SURPRISED. Well. The nakama are. I'm not.

episode twenty-three:
- Pretty animation again!
- Goku saves the kid and a nurse from the fire… and then goes right back to hiding up a tree. HAHAHA. Pan is like JUST GET OVER IT, WE'RE GOING TO EAT IN ONE. Goku: "There ain't no reason to eat in a hospital cafeteria!" Trunks explains that the only place to eat at all is in the cafeteria on the entire planet, and Goku is just like NOT GOING TO DO IT THEY WILL STAB ME WITH NEEDLES. Trunks eventually drags him down… meanwhile Baby is having an ominous monologue while they drag him kicking and screaming from his tree. HAHAHA.
- Trunks is terrible at hand-fishing, Goku is pulling them up by the dozens, and Pan is befriending fawns! Except when it tries to suckle her she calls it a pervert. She calls a lot of things perverted…
- Baby- still in disguise- approaches her and tries to befriend her, using the excuse that he's afraid of needles and so snuck out, which Pan points out "sounds familiar." Since she's alone, Baby decides to kill her… but Goku and Trunks appear.
- Everyone is relaxing, and Pan wonders how everyone back home is doing. Trunks wonders if she's feeling homesick, and she denies it. She's making a daisy-chain… The doctor Baby possessed promises Goku that no one is going to sneak up behind him and stab him with a needle, so they finally eat in the cafeteria. Doctor-Baby then offers Trunks a special tour of the hospital, since he noticed Trunks geeking out over the advanced tech on this planet earlier. Trunks you are enjoying yourself way too much… Seriously it's a little creepy. And while he's off-guard, Baby attacks him…
- And Trunks reveals that THIS WAS ALSO HIS PLAN. Trunks, you're getting really creepily good at these secret plans that involve you being the bait. Goku and Pan have been listening in.
- Pan's reaction to being attacked when she's not expecting it always seems to be to freeze up.
- There's a brief scuffle and Trunks gets a cut on his arm, which Baby uses to jump in and possess. Pan gets a lot of flack for being helpless but I swear, Trunks gets like this just as often… Goku wants to attack Trunks, but Pan stops him because she's worried he'll kill him. Goku claims he'll hold back, but… when Baby-Trunks tries to kill Goku, Real-Trunks manages to fight back enough that he can't. There's a struggle for dominance that Trunks seems to win, throwing him out of his body by turning Super Saiyan. Baby flees and escapes, possessing some random alien woman about to board a flight off-planet.
- Pan supports Trunks to help him walk, but they lose the trail of Baby.
- Pan thinks Baby's power is really creepy, but teases Gil that she thinks he's the next target. She then points out how particular Baby has been about Saiyans and "Saiya-power." But Goku is too hungry to really contribute…
- As Baby kills everyone on his spaceship and eats them, the others realize they've totally lost his trail and that all they can do for now is finish their quest for Dragonballs.

episode twenty-four:
- Earth, it's been a while since we've seen you! OH OH IT'S GOTEN BEING A MANWHORE. I LOVE THIS EPISODE. Goten, Chi-Chi, Bulma, and Vegeta are hanging out around Capsule Corp. Goten is hitting on some girl on the phone, and Chi-Chi complains that the only reason he offered to come with her was to do just that… Chi-Chi is really embarrassed listening to Goten hit on her, while Bulma just finds it funny. Meanwhile Vegeta shaves off his mustache. I love this. Vegeta is like HEY GOTEN, WHATCHA THINK OF MY NEW LOOK and then is really annoyed Goten doesn't notice. NEITHER DOES CHI-CHI. AND THE DRAMATIC FLASHBACK WITH BRA I JUST CAN'T. HAHAHA. Bulma and Chi-Chi laugh about it and go YEAH HE WAS UGLY AS HELL and Vegeta is like /////////// I WILL MURDER THEM ALLLLLL. I love this goddamn series.
- Oh! It's been nine months since the group went into space.
- Meanwhile, in space! Dragonball hunts! This is only their fifth dragonball, which is a little weird because it seems like there was a time skip- either it took them nine months to find the four they did, or it was a long time between finding #4 and #5. Each planet trip seems to take a few days, so I guess the question is in how long it takes them to go between planets.
- Meanwhile, Baby has made it to earth! Cool guys don't look at explosions. It must have been at least a short time skip, to get him there… man, maybe it really did take them five months to find the fifth dragonball?
- Goten's date… wow Paris/Palace is so dumb. She calls him Goten-sama and uses UBER SUPER POLITE LANGUAGE and has a 5 PM curfew… Goten is just like I AM GOING TO IGNORE THE BLATANT DANGER TO DATE YOU, PALACE. Oh Goten.
- MR SATAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN-!!!!! gdfgd god i love this series. Also interestingly, his reaction to being asked if he's a Saiyan, is "those punks with dyed hair?" So… I guess his son-in-law never bothered filling him in…? You'd think Pan at least would…
- Goten just finds Palace's extreme naivety hilarious. AS DO I. And then he sees Mr. Satan and is like HEY WHAT'S UP BRO. Mr. Satan is like YEAH MY PUPIL WILL FIGHT FOR ME!!! and Goten is like RIGHT OF COURSE AT YOUR AGE…… WHAT PUPIL? Mr Satan: WINKS AND SENDS A HEART. hahahahahahaha I want a cop show with these two. Anyway even if Mr. Satan doesn't seem to know what Saiyan are, he seems perfectly aware that Goten can handle the "explosions everywhere" type. Goten is just like, "I'm on a date, call the police…" And then he sees Palace talking to Baby and just drop kicks Baby. As soon as Goten hears about the Saiyan thing, he becomes much more serious.
- HAHAHA "he said something about Saiyans, so I was about to suggest he look for a vegetable grocer." Saiya is "Yasai" with reversed syllables; yasai means "vegetable" in Japanese. And now you know.
- Goten, I have a crush on you now. I'M LEAVING YOUR BESTIE FOR YOU. THAT WAS KIND OF COOL. Oh but Goten you are so cool when you get serious. AND GETTING ANNOYED HIS DATE IS RUINED… I love you Goten, you are my new crush.
- This episode has nothing to do with Pan but I love it too much to not recap every second of it.

episode twenty-five:
- So, right where we left off- Goten versus Baby. Except Goten's cellphone rings and it's Palace so he just forgets everything to flirt I love him. Anyway then they fight for real! And while Goten is flirting again, he gets a cut on his arm. He gets annoyed he's being "embarrassed in front of Palace-chan" and goes Super Saiyan, and after an attack that big, I'm kind of shocked the others aren't rushing over. Long story short, Baby enters his body through the cut on his arm and possesses him. Either because Goten has less willpower than Trunks or because Baby is stronger now, he doesn't shake it off.
- E- evil Goten, I kind of have a crush on you, too. Also, Baby can read Goten's memories; he couldn't read Trunks's. A- And lol, Palace also seems to have a crush on evil Goten.
- MEANWHILE, IN SPACE: Another dragonball!
- Pan seems to keep a video diary and is dressed up… They're having a party because there's only one dragon ball left. Trunks and Goku are a little worried they haven't heard from Baby, but Pan is sure he's just scared of them.
- 'Sup Piccolo. And Chi-Chi is timing Goten's date because she thinks he's going to be taken advantage of… Chi-Chi I kind of feel like… he might be the one taking advantage… anyway Gohan and Videl come to visit but Chi-Chi is so worried about Goten's purity that she takes off running!!! PRETTY MUCH THE BEST FAMILY. "Oh… it's you, Gohan…" God this entire scene. Gohan and Videl explain they're here to visit because there was a bit of trouble in Satan City; in the background there's just a LOUD SPUTTER as Chi-Chi spits water all over Videl, who appears rubbing her face with a towel… Chi-Chi keeps freaking out over Goten's LOST PURITY and when he shows up she starts fretting over him. The spoiled baby of the family…
- When he shoves her off and demands to see Vegeta, she slaps him. There's a really quick scanning over of some cute family photos as he goes flying- Vegeta getting his mouth pulled on by toddler!Bra, what looks like a fairly recent photo of Bulma, Vegeta, Trunks, and Bra standing outside of Capsule Corp., and then just one of Vegeta smirking circa Buu saga. Anyway Chi-Chi is really mad Goten said "Where is Vegeta" instead of "Where is Vegeta-san."
- Baby: "According to Goten's memory, even though she has no power, this woman is to be feared above all others… Could it be that she has some hidden power?" fgdffdgdgfdvsd
- Bulma's like "got no idea where Vegeta is, he just wanders off sometimes, who even knows." Hahaha.
- Gohan appears and Goten PUNCHES HIM IN THE GUT. And Chi-Chi is like "HAVE YOUR SIBLING RIVALRY OUTSIDE." Chi-Chi: It's no big deal. Brotherly quarrels are proof that they're getting along. Hahahaha.
- Videl and Pan share the same voice actress, and it's really easy to tell at times… What a mature, pretty voice Pan will have someday…
- Anyway, tl;dr, Goten and Gohan fight and Baby continues to take over stronger and stronger people.

episode twenty-six:
- Bra, even if you dress like a hooker, you're kind of moemoe.
- So Gohan is possessed and Goten is sick and Chi-Chi is freaking out.
- Meanwhile in space, everyone is in parkas but Goku, and Pan's is once again tailor made.
- Bra, you are super mouthy. That said, her threats are all talk- even if she is "strong" enough to withstand being thrown by Vegeta, she doesn't try to fight or even threaten to fight- she just demands Baby-Gohan repay her for the clothes he ruined and then leaves.
- I do like Baby's back story- that is, he's one of the Fruits that the Saiyans wiped out and stole the planet of, etc. He wants revenge because of this etc. I mean it's still evil but it makes more sense than I JUST WANT TO KILL EVERYTHING as a reason. That said I have to wonder… if Planet Fruit became Planet Vegeta when King Vegeta conquered it, as in, current Vegeta's father… where the hell were the Saiyans living before that? It could only have been in control of the Saiyans for a generation at most before Freeza destroyed it, so where did the Saiyans come from first?? Did Freeza destroy that planet too?
- I kind of find it cute how Vegeta seems mildly distressed that Goten is possessed too- he didn't really care about Gohan at all. But when you think about it, he's probably known Goten his entire life, seeing as Goten and Trunks are basically like brothers themselves. (Well, he's known Gohan almost his entire life, too, but.)
- Vegeta does a fairly good job resisting Baby. I find it interesting that he and Trunks do it well- when Trunks did Baby was weaker though- and Gohan and Goten immediately succumb.
- MEANWHILE IN SPACE, THE LAST DRAGONBALL. They're all super excited and run back to earth!

episode twenty-seven:
- Aaaaaand they're back on earth! Pan is excited to brag about her exploits, most of which Trunks points out never happened. (That is, "saving Trunks from metal" and "getting the Dragonballs from Rild" were both parts of Trunks's secret plan.) Also Trunks, are you reading a physics magazine… Pan: "Anyway, everything was relying on me!" Trunks: (in a teasing voice) "Right, right. We'll keep quiet about how you cried." PFFFF.
- Pan calls Dende "Kami-sama," not Dende. Is she the only one who does this…? Maybe it's a generational thing. Anyway, she launches into a little speech about how she did a great job gathering the dragon balls and is totally great, and gets a little mad when Dende is like GOOD JOB, GOKU.
- Pan gets annoyed that Goku can't be wished back to adult size unless they use the same dragon balls again, because having a grandpa younger than her is just awful. She tries to get Trunks to back her up and he's like N- NO… Goku says he's fine with staying a kid, but Pan points out Chi-Chi is going to be super mad and never cook for them again if he's like that. That said, she does hand the dragon balls over. SHE'S SUDDENLY WAY MORE ENERGETIC, ISN'T SHE…
- Oh this is super moe!! The group parts ways; Pan and Goku to their home and Trunks and Gil to Capsule Corp. Pan offers to let Gil come with her, but Gil refuses out of fear. She laughs and says that if he's going to be like that, it's okay… she takes off her bandana and ties it around him like a cape, then kisses him. "Okay! You just got my first kiss!" THAT WAS REALLY CUTE, PAN…
- Mr Satan that is the creepiest way of staying safe ever but I love it and I love Mr Buu. BEST BESTIES. Mr. Buu is a great character, okay. And I love how he's just the only one immune to Baby and can totally detect Baby. And how his absorption powers are coming in handy as a SAFEHOUSE. Also I like the note that Mr Satan can't stand a chance against normal DBZ-level enemies, but he's actually still incredibly powerful for a normal HUMAN.
- Pan and Goku arrive home, and Pan hugs Videl and tries to brag. But they're totally ignored… this is kind of scary, when you think about it. Arriving home, seeing your family for the first time, being totally ignored and unwelcomed… Pan wonders if it's that they're mad at her for stowing away and promises not to do it again, but obviously it doesn't work.
- Goku and Pan are kind of naive sometimes, aren't they… that said, the fact that Gohan doesn't greet her at all seems to be what tips Pan off that something might be wrong, although she freaks when they go into attack mode. Which, gotta say, is pretty understandable. She starts crying when Gohan tries to kill her, and pretty much just takes the attack full on. Goku saves her, but she passes out a moment later- "Grandpa, have I done something wrong? Am I such a bad girl?" Seriously, if this was playing for drama it would be terrifying.
- "I ain't a Saiyan, I'm an Earthling." Oh, Goku, I love it when you get like that. ///
- I love the running… joke, I guess, that Mr Satan is the only one to survive EVERYTHING. He is the only character who will never be killed, die, or be possessed.

episode twenty-eight:
- Ugly animation episode… and way to destroy your own house, Gohan.
- So Pan gets turned into candy and eaten by Mr Buu for protection… if Mr Buu can do that with rocks and stuff too, he would be an awesome friend to have.
-Aaaaand Trunks is down for the count. Bra is also possessed but frankly I doubt that aside from flying and a bit of natural durability she has any powers? She certainly never shows them.
- Why does Baby hate Goku so much? If he's after revenge for his race, Vegeta makes the most sense as a target- being the son of the leader of the guy who did it. If he's mad about his defeat earlier, then TRUNKS would make the most sense, since Trunks destroyed his programing. Goku led the attacks against him after that, but jointly with Trunks and Pan… But it's Goku that Baby hates and the only one he wants to kill. I feel like I'm missing something…??
- "It's been a long time since I fought someone as strong as you," says Goku. He's not kidding: it's been what, 20 years since Buu? 21 years?
- WOW BRA THOSE ARE SUCH HOOKER GLOVES…
- Pan very briefly reacts to the news Goku might be dead, but she doesn't sound sad as much as "no way!"

episode twenty-nine:
- thank you pretty animation………
- Okay, but now that she's been released, Pan's crying pretty hard over Goku. She, Mr. Buu, and Mr. Satan are hiding out in the mountains. It doesn't seem like Baby realizes or cares.
- Huh, so Mr Satan knows about dragon balls? Baby uses them and Pan starts worrying because now the one-year counter has been reset. It must have been at least 9-10 months since the series started, and several days since they came back, right? Anyway, Pan's pretty depressed about everything, needless to say.
- Pan and the others have snuck into West City, where they spy Baby and the Saiyan half-breeds. Pan is shocked and really upset to see Trunks there, and almost calls out to him; Mr. Satan stops her and she seems to cry against him.
- P- PFFFFFF Goku's answers to these riddles. "Who rides in a taxi all day and never pays?" "Vegeta!"
- And his worst fear is Chi-Chi dressed as a nurse, nagging him about money, and giving him a shot. Legit.

episode thirty:
- "Just a pair of ordinary space tanuki…" naturally??
- Pan has snuck into Capsule Corp and discovered Gil's, uh, corpse and her bandana, which she puts back on (and takes Gil with her). Meanwhile, they're spying on the new Capsule Corp. space ship, which is being loaded for transport to Planet Fruit. Pan comes up with a plan to sneak onto the ships too.
- B- Buu that is a weirdly handsome disguise what the heck. AND HELLO KRILLEN. And Buu you are awful at disguise. And Krillen you are super moe and so is your family. It's weird to see Bulma cutting the line and not including Krillen's family- I mean, they're all possessed, they don't "know" one another, but… Come to think of it it's a little weird that Pan doesn't seem to recognize him either, but in that case she might not be able to SEE him.
- Marron you are also super moe why is everyone so mow.
- "Please take us along too! You know how frightening my wife can get, right?" Hee.
- Pan, that is actually a really stupid plan you have right there. Mr. Satan suggests she think of something else, but Pan doesn't listen. And the weird thing is that it works… (giving them all laxatives…) Except then Videl attacks Pan- Gohan too. Pan hugs Gohan when he seems to recognize her, but when it becomes clear they're evil, she starts freaking out. Then Baby tells them to kill her and they're like "you betcha." So Gohan starts to strangle her… … wow.
- Pan doesn't even try to fight back. Luckily, Uub to the rescue! YEAH UUB.

episode thirty-one:
- So the current survivor list is Pan, Goku, Uub, Mr. Satan, and Mr. Buu… Uub explains he was hiding out with his family (he has like five siblings), but when he felt Goku's ki vanish, he hurried over. Something I like about Uub is that he's like, Goku's student, but he very much has his own life and family apart from the main group.
- That said, Pan seems familiar enough with him to recognize him on sight and call him "Uub," no honorific.
- When Uub runs off to fight, Pan tries to follow him, but Mr Satan stops her. Then her parents try to convince her to get possessed so she isn't killed by Baby. It's really interesting, the degrees of possession- they seem almost totally normal most of the time (Krillen and family), except when "Baby's enemies" appear, and they go into murder mode. When Goku and Pan first arrived home, they were totally ignored, but then they show recognition later, and now Gohan and Videl are like "Pan-chan, of course we remember you, come to Baby's arms." And right now, they're showing concern and care for Baby, even when he doesn't want it- so it's not that he's controlling their every move, more like, changing their opinions? So that everyone loves Baby most, and hates whoever Baby hates… or something.
- Baby seems to kill Gohan, and Pan bursts out crying and has to be restrained again. It's not said where Videl went off to.
- Uub passes out and Pan tries to revive him. She gets really mad and runs off to fight Baby, but it does absolutely nothing. She also does a point-blank masenko to Baby's face… it's mostly cool that she knows it.
- O- oh… Mr Satan… watching Pan fight, he runs over to Buu-
"Mr. Buu, with Videl as Baby's slave… Pan-chan's the only reason I have left to live."
"Whatever is dear to Satan is dear to Buu as well…"

Mr Buu saves Pan, and Mr Satan holds her with teary eyes… he may be a coward but he's such a good guy… Buu carries them both to safety, then smiles.

"You'll be okay this far away. Satan, I love you."
"H- huh?"
"Satan, you beat up those bad guys over the puppy that got killed. Satan, you're my friend."
"Yeah, I'm your friend. What are you talking about, Mr. Buu?"
"I love you, Mr Satan, but for some reason, I can't leave Uub."

(there's a short silence, Mr Satan steps closer.)

Buu: "We'll always, always be friends. I'll never forget you, Satan." "
Buu… Buu!"
As Buu waves bye-bye and flies away… Oh that's so sad… Ohhh…
- And Buu absorbs Baby's strongest attack like it's nothing and then explodes. Not that this means much for Buu, since he can regenerate. He speaks to Uub instead… Uub… Uub.
Who is it? Who is calling out to me?
Mister Buu.
You… It almost seems as though this isn't the first time I've met you. There's something very familiar about you…
Buu and Uub were once all the same body. Majin Buu's ki gathered together and another Buu was born. That Buu died, and was reincarnated as Uub.
You and I… were one?
Mmm. Buu and Uub will once against become one. The power of Buu and
the power of Uub…
Oh this is so sad, Mr. Buu was so nice okay! So instead of regenerating, Buu absorbs himself into Uub. And now I guess he's Uubu but that name is slightly ridiculous. Ubu? The more I look at this name the less like words it appears. Uububuububbbubububububbuu
- I guess this has gone from STUFF ABOUT PAN FOR CHARACTER INFO to RAMBLING ABOUT WHATEVER I FEEL LIKE WHILE WATCHING.

episode thirty-two:
- PAN ISN'T IN THIS EPISODE AT ALL. But Goku goes all gold oozaru so we know she's having a cool moment soon.

episode thirty-three:
- CRAPPY ANIMATION WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS IN THE PLOT-IMPORTANT EPISODES.
- Pan, still running off with Mr Satan, senses Goku's ki again and immediately takes off to go check it out.
- Pan can tell that Goku is stronger than Baby, but he's pretty much on a killer rampage. Also, it seems Bra is still alive- she's hanging with Chi-Chi and Videl. No sign of Trunks/Goten/Gohan, however, so I guess they're dead after all?
- Pan saves everyone from falling rubble and tells them to get away; she tries to talk Goku down but he has no idea who she is and fireballs her away.
- Pan and Satan are still following Goku around, and Pan realizes he's acting weirdly, so she decides to try and reason with him again. Basically Goku wants to be on Earth, not Planet Fruit; Pan recognizes this pretty quickly: Pan: I understand! You miss Earth, huh?
Pan: Grandpa!
Pan: Do you recognize me? It's Pan!
Pan: Hurry and take care of Baby, then we can go home to Earth together with everyone else! Okay?
Pan: Grandpa?
Pan: Grandpa!

He swats her out of the sky. When she falls, her backpack breaks open and out falls her old red gi. She flashes back to the tournament when she was four as she hugs it, then flies back up, holding the gi out to him:

Pan: Grandpa…
Pan: You remember this, right?
Pan: Grandpa, this is the gi you let me wear the first time I entered the World's Strongest tournament. Recognize it? I've always treasured it!
Pan: Please, remember, Grandpa!

He blows her away again. Also, how cute is it she's been carrying this around with her for an entire year, in her backpack? When she falls, a photo falls out from the gi and he looks at it curiously. It's a SUPER CUTE picture of everyone at the beach when Pan was about four- Mr Satan going "peace," and sitting at a table with Bulma and Bra, Vegeta eating an ice cream, Yamcha on a cell phone, Puar sunbathing on top of a beach umbrella, Mr. Buu cheering, Goten looking over at Trunks, Trunks laughing over something, Oolong posing, Roshi, Marron and presumably Krillen building a sand-castle while #18 wears a bikini- in the center, Chi-Chi, Videl, and Gohan surrounding Goku, who is holding a really, really happy Pan. It is a really cute photo and it is even cuter that Pan has been carrying this around too! Goku stares at it and Pan flies over to see.

Pan: That was the time when I was little, and we all went swimming at the beach together!

She smiles and flashes back- waves crashing, Trunks and Goten burying Vegeta in the sand, Krillen and family swimming, Gohan napping, Mr. Satan with his fans, and Pan building… something in the sand, with Videl watching, as Chi-Chi talks to Goku.

Chi-Chi: Lots of things have happened, but it sure would be nice if we could always enjoy ourselves like this.
Goku: Yeah. I love to fight, but doing stuff like this ain't that bad either.

Pan flashes back to the present, teary eyed.

Pan: Grandpa… Have you forgotten that? Remember it!

When she starts to cry, Goku looks confused. He touches her face, then licks his finger, then suddenly comes to, looking surprised. Now he flashes back to baby Pan in an inner tube, waving at him as she runs into the water.

Baby Pan: Grandpa!
Goku: Pan!

She gets caught in a big wave and goes under. Goku picks her up, she's crying.

Goku: What's the matter? Are you that afraid of the waves?
Baby Pan: T- the water is just too salty!
Goku: The water in the sea is salty! I'm sure that might be because everyone pees in it.

This makes them both laugh, and in the present, Goku suddenly recognizes her. He brushes her out of the way- gently this time- and looks at the Earth and starts to glow. Pan freaks out a little bit, then looks shocked as he transforms into Super Saiyan 4.

AND YES I HAD TO TRANSCRIBE THAT ALL IT WAS BOTH ADORABLE AND IMPORTANT.
