Well......this is it.......the end of summer
Ok, so yeah probably everyone else didn't really care to see summer come to an end and school begin, but I do. Now starts the part of the year I dislike the most, because for one with fall, you know the worst time of year is coming....winter. Anyway, enough of my ode to summer for now, but it was a good one, actually the best one ever. Rebecca and I spent a lot of time together and did a lot of stuff and it was really awesome and makes me even more eager for next year. I go back to school tommorow, which I really don't want to do, but it will finally all be over after this semester, and believe me, I really can't wait for it.
Last night Mike and I saw Gigantour (Dillinger, Fear Factory, DT and a few others who aren't really worth mentioning, mainly Megadeth). Now DT is basically an impossible act to follow up unless you are Tool or maybe Rush (even then its tough) but Megadeth just plain sucked. They had absolutley no stage prescense, you couldn't even hear what the hell Mustaine was saying and they stood around and did an occasional banging of the head, that was it, yeah they are old, but a bunch of senior citizens are more lively, and possibly more entertaining to watch. DT though was awesome, 1:45 long set which they just hit flawless, and if I didn't know any better Portnoy's set looks even a bit bigger than before.
Anyway, back to other topics, my short vacation up to RI was good times, but was very very hard to leave, I basically walked into the airport trying my best to hold back the tears. We saw 2 funny movies, 40 year old virgin much funnier than wedding crashers, but they were both of honerable mention but still not contenders for movie of the year which would of course be devil's rejects, hahahahh...
Rebecca comes down this week, which I really can't wait for (and her birthday). I know its gonna be good times, I just hope for good weather cause I want to spend some time out on the boat with everyone and getting a little lit up while I'm at it, as a farewell to the summer which truly makes me sad, thus the "mood".
That is all for now, I know I'll be updating a lot more often now that I'll be bored as hell out in PA most of the time I'm there unless of course we get a good poker night going, which I truly hope for.
