Aftermath, and other thoughts

Ok, so yeah its been a good while since I've updated, but when you usually work on the other side of the earth (Long Beach, sunshine of my life Island) sarcasm there...I hate the place, the last thing you feel like doing is sitting and typing. So my favorite holiday of the year has come and gone, yes thats right, 4th of July. You may ask me to explain why it is a favorite holiday, well for one its summer, for another we always manage to have a good time. This year, we drank a lot of beer and booze once again. When I get them I'll put up a link of three stumbling drunk red-necks attempting to canoe, by exceeding the weight limit by a good 300 pounds. We later had a genius idea of towing the canoe off the back of a 14ft power boat, with one person holding a tow rope and another sitting in the back to balance things out, it was a site to see. Other than that the party went good, rest of the week went good, and now I've been back to work for a while and it sucks. Thus I have formed another vice, yes my few loyal readers, I have an addiction to buying scratch-offs. No, don't call Gamblers hotline, I want to be able to still go to AC, and I gotta see Vegas at one time in my life. But they make you come so damn close to winning that you just have to get one the next day. The other day I thought I won 1,000, which is right now a lot of money to me because sweating my ass off doing construction, $1,000 seems like it should be closer to a million. I turned out to be wrong about the $1,000 and only won $10 instead, so it was bittersweet.

Anyway, read the lyrics to System of a Down's new album, its awesome and makes me want Bush exiled even more, I tell you its true genius. On another random note of my crack-like journal entry we're going to see a race car/drag car/general red-neck show, and I'm sure it will be good times.
