(no subject)
Okay, so back at the beginning of the season, I told Scott that if I were writing Doctor Who, I'd write a two-parter where something happened to the Doctor, and his current Companion would have to gather as many of the old Companions as she could in order to save him.
Seriously. I'm a little worried that I may have somehow given part of my brain to Russell Davies.
Fun! Total fun! Though a couple of times I wondered if it's possible to write fan fic for your own show, on your own show. But that's a quibble. And I have a hard time deciding which I love more: Captain Jack flirting with Sarah Jane Smith, or the Doctor telling Donna (about Captain Jack): "Don't. Really. Just ... don't."
But this is my favorite thing, and the reason I love Donna. "Why don't you ask her yourself?" Donna is the Doctor's friend. And she's a good one. And that makes me happy.
Next week's the finale, and then ... I dunno. I've heard they're doing a bunch of specials next, and then maybe another series? They've got Steven Moffatt as a show runner, so I'd assume there'll be a show. Here's hoping SciFi keeps buying them.
