It has it's good moments, certainly. I still like the show (and I adore both Debra Messing and Anjelica Houston). I'm not going to quit watching it (some of the music is great) but I am getting a little frustrated.
I kind of enjoy the fact that it's a train wreck. And I kind of disagree with you on the cheating thing...I think that it's somewhat more accurate than most portrayals of relationships in shows. There's more gray than we'd all like to admit.
That, and I'm sorry, but Will Chase is the sexiest thing ever. So I realize my love for him clouds my judgment. :-) I saw him on Friday with the Colorado Symphony and HOLY SHIT CAN HE SING.
That's alright. It's not the cheating in general that I have a problem with - it happens, people make mistakes, etc - but I wish that it wasn't nearly every couple on the show. Or maybe it just seems like it to me.
I've only watched the first two episodes of this show so far, but I was kind of wondering whether it was going to be a bit like this. I will probably still watch it, but I think I'm going to end up wanting to smack everyone.
Don't get me wrong, it isn't a bad show. I'm certainly glad they were picked up for another season, but sometimes I just get frustrated. It's like the first season of Glee, running full force with a "theme" or storyline and making it far-reaching and annoying. I understand that people's lives connect more closely then we realize and that they often mirror one another often, but it's like they're trying to cramming it all in together.
