Summary: Hyukjae finally admits that he secretly admires Donghae, his good friend a.k.a Sora noona's boyfriend. However, when Donghae leaves Korea for work and Minho comes along and confesses to Hyukjae. Hyukjae decides to accept Minho, but what will happen when Donghae comes back?!
A/N: fail English... almost no Donghae, and obviously no love between Donghae and Hyukjae this chapter! Sorry :( To compromise, I am officially starting a Hae’s version of this story now!

Chapter 4

I am quite sure Minho-shii is a little drunk.
“Hyukjae-ah…” He speaks in my ear tenderly with few tiny hiccups in the sentence, “I have always wanted to tell you this.”
Feeling my heart weirdly skips a beat, “What is it?”
“I love you.”
Uh?!! My heart literally stops the second he confesses.
This is the first ever confession I get. Even with the dim light in the party, I am sure everyone can clearly see that I am flushed red like a strawberry.
Minho’s voice echoes in my head. “I love you.”
I look into his eyes again, and all I can see is sincerity, not a sign of drunk.
I am totally lost and freaked out, not knowing how to respond.
I don’t even know if I love him or not. His tenderness, his seductive eyes and his gentle smile really have me tangled to him. I feel a part of me has actually fallen for him.
But Hae… “Don’t fall for anyone.” My feeling for Minho is kind of different to that for Hae.
I cannot describe the difference between the two. Which one is love? And which one is not? I can’t tell, seriously.
Not noticing how long I stand there unmoved and shocked, I scream and run out of the club as soon as I get my conscious back!
Just as I step out of the club, someone pulls my wrist so vigorously that I drop into his embrace.
He turns me round. “Minho-shii… I…” I startled.
“Don’t be scared. Just allow me to show you my love.”
He bends down as he says while holding my head up a little. I leave my eyes wide open, to see him closing the gap between us slowly until his lips meets mine.
Yet, he does not keep it long. Minho pulls back very slowly and lightly, “do you like it?”
I do - I mean, I feel so breath-taking, so weak under his lips. My face is completely heated up. I want to speak, but my tears fall off before anything.
That’s my first kiss……
In my dictionary, kiss is exactly the same as being with the person as couple forever and after.
Minho looks at my filthy tear-off face in shock. He immediately brushes my tears off and wraps me into him.
“I am sorry! I am so so sorry, I should have asked you before I do anything…” He keeps saying these few phrases.
I keep shaking my head, no, I don’t even know why my tears drip off that second.
He bends down again to peck my falling tears from my eyes.
That’s when I know Sungminnie is totally right. I really want someone to stay next to me always, to take care of me, to love me.
“You will not leave me alone.” I muffle between my sobs.
“Of course I won’t!! I will never ever leave you…” He smiles and dance next to me happily, and I laugh at his naïve action.
He stops, and looks into my eyes very seriously.
“Hyukjae-ah, I love you.”
I am flushed red again, not knowing what to answer. “… umm,, thankyou.” I am not used to any type of confession.
I must sound so stupid now.
He giggles, “It should be, ‘I love you too’ when you answer. Try it, I love you.”
“I…” Maybe because I have never said the three words, I just feel strange to speak them out. I look down in embarrassment.
He pulls me in his arms so tightly that I feel I am sinking into him, “It’s okay. It takes time.”
“Don’t forget me.”
Sorry, Hae… I don’t think I can stand it anymore. Loving someone that you know you will never get really does hurt.
It’s around midnight. We had a bit of food, and Minho then walks me back home.
When we arrive at the front door of my house, he pecks my cheek with a goodnight kiss. “I will call you later when I get home.”
I know I must be all flushed again. I nodded.
Just as I walk into the house, noona rushes down furiously, “Who is that guy?!!”
“You mean Minho-shii?”
“Stop playing your innocence with me!” Okay, noona is angry, and I have no idea why. “Did he just kiss you goodnight?!”
“… yes.”
“Why didn’t you refuse him?!!”
“But,” I should not be scared of noona. I speak out bravely, “But why should I?! He is officially my boyfriend!”
“WHAT?! LEE HYUKJAE!!”
I feel so innocent. Why the heck does she have to shout at me?! “Your little brother is finally in love, shouldn’t you be happy for me, rather than being all furious suddenly?”
Sora noona suddenly startles. “Of course I am happy for you.” She smiles as she continues, but I can tell she is definitely faking it, “I am just worried my precious little brother may be tricked by some pricks.”
“Minho is no prick!” and I then walk back room silently, leaving noona behind.
What’s wrong with Sora noona? She has never been so weird before.
I feel so sad for noona was scolding me just now. I have never done anything wrong. I am just going out with someone in my class.
If noona can be upset, why can’t I reject noona and Hae’s relationship!
As I am lying dead on my bed and my mind is drifting off to those stupid things about Donghae, Minho’s call pulls me back.
“Hyukjae-ah…”
I am glad I have Minho to keep me accompany now, “Minho…”
“Just want to tell you I am back at home. Are you ready for bed?”
I sit up embarrassedly and look at myself who is still in my party form, “I just got back into my room…”
“Why is that?”
I have no idea how to start. How could I say my noona hates you for no reason and stuff? “I was chatting with my noona…”
“Oh, okay.” He pauses a bit and continues, “Tonight is one of the best nights I have ever had. Thankyou for accepting my love. I truly love you, and I think I am missing you already!”
Stupid Minho! We have just seen each other!!
But just by hearing his voice and his sweet words, I feel my heart pumping quicker. Hehehe :) I have never imagined love is like that.
“Minho-ah, thank you as well… for loving me and for giving me a chance to love.”
“Cute baby,” he chuckles, “It’s getting late now. Go to bed now, we can always talk tomorrow. Goodnight.”
“Goodnight.”
I fall straight into deep sweet dreams after talking to him.
It’s been a long time, actually ever since Hae left, since I last slept so well. Thankyou, Minho.

Sorry, I know, there is no HaeHyuk moment, but I can assure this is definitely a HaeHyuk story... :(
