I guess I've been a slacker again in posting. The quick update is I had a great time hanging out with my sister in December and doing some shopping on the mainland. After a busy Hanukah, I had a quiet Christmas and New Years.
One of the mandatory shopping trips was to Shipwreck Beads. This time I got a pattern book that taught me how to do these gorgeous "Ukrainian" necklaces. I made a previous one, but I had to abandon it when the end string was too short for me to tie off to the clasp. This second attempt went MUCH better but I often find the second try at a new style often works better.
I had the day off today and spent it finishing the below necklace.
