A new all time low, or rather an all time high, in snow days was reached today in Kentucky. Public school all across this part of the state had snow days yesterday and today (except one school that closed because the electricity or the furnace wasn't working).
It has not snowed since Saturday, when we got a little over an inch. Snow has not been on the road since Sunday, and it is currently 49 degrees. Admittedly that is farenheit, not celcius, so there is a chance that it could all change swiftly and bring a torrential blizzard tearing through the south/midwest, but I for one find that prospect unlikely.
Forty Nine Degrees! Like the football team! Like half of the boy band! Like 17 degree above the temperature at which water freezes! Forty nine degrees!
