Katie and I keep eating candy corn...lol. I'm not buying anymore until the week before Halloween b/c if i buy more now we will just eat it all.
I had a good weekend. Homecoming was fun. Cathy and I sang Mr. Brightside and other songs on the way to and from lol. I saw a lot of people I wanted to see, except for Allie...i have no idea where she was. No one else knew either. I miss her. Ugh...Afterwards was Steak and Shake...yummy. I missed steakburgers and cheese fries from there.
Saturday I spent the day with Joe. He's amazing. I love him so much.We went to see his grandfather's grave, coz it was the anniversary this past week. He wanted me to go with him. He held my hand tighly at first, like it was hard for him to be there. I couldn't tell if there were tears in his eyes, darn sunglasses. I just stood by him and let him be quiet for awhile. Then I just whispered I love you. He turned and hugged me tightly for a few minutes before we walked back to the car. Then we went to his grandma's birthday party and his family was there and everything was cool. I did have an interesting conversation with his dad though. it went something like this:
Bill: You know why I am angry with Joe don't you?
Me: Yes, he told me about the credit card thing.
Bill: I just wanted you to know why sometimes his mother and I act cold towards him. We just have some tough love for him right now.
Me: I understand, I've given him my 2 cents about the situation and what i think he should do so we'll just see what happens.
Bill: Does he have a job now?
Me: Yes, (then i told details of where and when)
Bill: I think you're the best thing he has going for him right now. You've helped him out a lot.
Me: I try to be there for him.
then Joe walked up with hot chocolate for me and his little cousin Braden, so his dad stopped talking to me about it. I told Joe what had gone on later though. When we left we went and found a quiet place to park and talk for awhile. We leaned the seats of the cavi back, laid facing each other and held hands while we talked. It's nice to do that. I like it almost better than making out lol. almost. I didn't feel so good so I didn't really feel like doing anything but talking.
Today I went and saw our kitay. She is so cute...we decided to name her Jett...after Joan Jett and the band Jet and coz she's jet black. She's so adorable. My camera's battery was dead so I couldn't take any pictures of her.**pout** but i can next time i'm home which will prolly be the weekend of the 14th.
one complaint about fall...my scalp is itching like crazy!! grrrr.
