Cool Boston moment of the day--went to a random Arts festival (actually called the "boston ahts fest"--heehee, way to go boston pronounciation humor) in Christopher Columbus Park. They had free watercolors and paper, so melissa and i did watercolor sketches of the harbor area. Of course, our drawings ended up looking like two completely different places. We both took different artistic liscences ;-) Mine is very storybook new worldish.
Ta-daaa! Go scanner!
And later, we got many stares walking back from Bed Bath & Beyond. Mels carried her boxed bookshelf back on her head Ghana-style. (Ah, the things you learn during study abroad experiences). It was amusing to me.
I'm also amused by quacking at the duck boat tours. It's this land-and-water tour of Boston, and I think they're supposed to quack at people sometimes. So I quack at them when I see them. And a squirrel shunned my expensive sandwich today when I tried to feed it. He doesn't know what he's missing. Darn squirrels. I think a two-year-old laughed at me.
I have yet to kick a pigeon. I think they're football shaped and Jenny said she saw a guy kick one once. I think he must've been talented because they've been too fast for me yet, the buggers.
