Hey, ladies!
I'd forgotten how much NANO eats the brain. I don't have time to do much more than think about and write this story.
Here's one thing I really like about Nano: it gives me the freedom to create some decent female characters. I've write female characters in fanfic, but the parameters of those characters are already drawn for me, and I've never seen any real reason to expand on them.
Since my Nano guys don't live in an all-guy world, I have to create some women. In this story so far, I have six women, all of whom are quite different. Well, maybe Em's mom and sister are sort of alike, but as families do share some traits, that doesn't bother me all that much.
I'm having fun exploring their motivation, imagining what they look like and how their experiences shaped them. Most of that won't be on the pages, but it all has to be in the back of my mind when I write. Thanks to lil_1337, for reminding me of that.
