Actually, I couldn't find any authentic combinations, but I did find these vintage ads for men's underthings. You'll cry, I swear.

I read about the Cannon Towel and Ivory soap ads in a few of my reference books. When I googled images for them a few of these popped up. Then I just google imaged for vintage underwear ads and hit lulz gold.

No, I don't have much of a social life. When I'm not writing, reading or lecturing the kids, I google all kinds of odd stuff.
There are a lot more of these ads out there, believe me.

That's a helluva big log. And did you get a load of the lady centaurs or whatever they are in the background? They have antlers, so I really don't know what they're supposed to be.
