We walk into the house, and they've got it set up so nicely. The titles are saying "Welcome!" and it's cute, very cute. Not that we should be factoring that into our decision to rent the house. No, we should be looking at much more practical things, like whether it comes furnished, how much the rent is, utilities, location, backyard, what it looks like, if there's renter's insurance, what comes included. And we do think about all of those, weigh the pros and the cons, look at the different houses, the locations, what comes with each one. In the end, though, we have to come to terms with the fact that Scrabble tiles helped us decide which house to get.
