I found 6 with a 1k minimum just too tough in the timeframe sorry! It doesn't mean I wont sign up again, but it did mean I realised very early I wasn't going to be able to do it, unless the *only* writing I did during that period was for story_lottery.

I'd really love it if maybe there was a 500 word minimum, with the proviso that at least 3 were 1k +? Just a thought :)

I agree. I found that the 1k limit a little high. 500 is fine for me.

I don't think 6,100 words is too much for 2 entire months of writing, like I said it's a challenge, it has to be challenging in a way. If everyone wins then what's the point?
