That line always makes me think of Jack. Alas, it is far too long to fit on an icon. (I don't actually know how this song ended up on my computer. I must have downloaded it from somewhere, but I'm drawing a blank.)

I didn't know I could do this without a paid account. Neat.
I also (temporarily) made the icons go away on friends-view. You really do notice the actual posts a lot more without any pictures to distract your eye. I mean, stating the obvious there, but I think it's easy to take it for granted, when the icons, mood sets, polls, etc. make the whole level of conversation different from what you'd get on usenet or email lists. In both good and bad ways.
(Am clearly sublimating political angst into pointless internet fidgeting and rambling.)
I was also downloading fonts earlier, which I really need to stop doing. Fonts and brushes are very nice, and in some ways, it's like shopping without needing any money, but when you have so many that you can't actually identify them, it's time to quit it and... go buy some shoes or something.
