There was no problem with Lothar's report that everything was back to normal. However, if he was wrong, there is the minor fact that he does not appear to need vacuum support to survive in space...and since that is the case, I wanted to hear from you.

I would not wish to go through all the trouble of saving the ship (Lothar did oversimplify things a bit) just to have it detonate anyway once you were no longer within range of your deadman switch.

That's okay. After the whole mess with the deadman switch procedure, I've decided to deactivate mine. I'll go back to my original plan of maintaining control: being Chief Medical Officer. If that doesn't turn out to be sufficient, there's always mind control chemicals.
