Status: Storvik(s)

Doctor Khan has turned over to me all information about this "other Storvik" that he has discovered, and I have taken responsibility for investigating further. (Aside: I think that I may have actually seen him not long after we arrived.) Thus far, Khan has established that we are able to track him within starbase668 using the uss_murgatroid's sensors; but I hestitate to contact him directly (yet) or beam him in for questioning -- and not just because, as long as he is on the station, he is outside of our jurisdiction (although I do not wish to push the station personnel too far, especially, while we're relying on them for repairs).
Why do I hesitate? Thus far, he has not acted in a threatening manner (other than the death of a Khan clone, which Khan admits may have been influenced by extenuating circumstances -- and pales behind Lothar's activities in any rate). He has been openly using the name "Storvik" and has been identified as such by Federation security scanners. Were he a spy or a changeling, he would not be walking about so openly, and ignoring the uss_murgatroid. So who could he be?
He has a small ship -- something I've wanted to have. He has immunity to Khan's retroviri, something which I have only just acquired. He has facial hair, which I have never grown -- yet. The possibility exists that he is me, from the future -- and according to Starfleet regulations, we (and I in particular) should avoid contact with him, or the exchanging of any information which can alter the timeline.
It is also possible that he is the "real" Storvik, and I am the "imposter" -- When we went back and "reset" the timeline, we sat back and waited for history to re-run itself before we jumped back in. Perhaps this timeline produced another Storvik (Khan, Ifix, etc.) while we sat outside of events, and we are temporal orphans from the pre-reset timeline. Should that be established, it would put all of us into a rather uncertain status.
I may have been duplicated via a transporter accident, or he may be a temporal orphan from another timeline. A variety of other possibilities (such as cloning -- could this all be one of Khan's practical jokes?) also come to mind. For the most part, they suggest hesitation and observation. However, there is one thing I should do: have a meeting with the station's commander and apprise him of the situation. This is a precaution, in case this other-Storvik does turn out to be hostile, if not and enemy agent, and we need to act to capture/restrain/eliminate him.
