In the background of his comlink to Lt. Heavens, Storvik's heard Heavens frantically tapping at her command console.

"Sir, there are currently twenty-seven Khans on Deep Space Nine, along with two Khans on one of the departing ships, three Khans on another ship, four Khans on the third ship, and five Khans on the last ship."

Storvik blinked, then replied, "Hmm, an excellent tactic to throw us off the scent. Are any of the ships reachable? I may need to speak with the Khans that are on board to determine what they know."

Heavens replied, "I guessed that you might want that, sir, and hailing frequencies are open to three of the ships. The fourth ship is on a course through a field of subspace interference that limits communications, and I have not been able to establish an open comlink channel with them."

Computer. Irish cream. Shot.

~takes the Irish cream, pours it into his coffee and sits down staring at the cup, oblivious to what just occurred~

Before Storvik can respond to either Foltan or Captain Terminal, his combadge beeped. "Heavens from Murgatroid to Storvik: we received not permission but instead orders to leave Deep Space Nine and are encouraged to do so at high warp. All personnel are aboard, although not all are vertical. We should head out now; do you want us to beam you aboard or would you prefer to stay on the Mustang?"
