Writing Not-Happiness

There is one part of writing I really, really, DONT like.

Since giving into the UrbanFantasy I"ve been itching to write, I created a plot I love, and then set to work definining my characters. My MC just had a little chat with MissMoon, who informed me that my MC really doesnt want to work in my wonderful plot. It doesnt suit her character, and ( Read more... )

*sigh* Yeah, I'm arriving to that conclusion.
But I LIKE my plot. I'm still trying to weasle out of the inevitable... a voice outside of my head saying the same thing is helpful :)

Thanks :)

(That said, I might have to store the plot line away-all three books worth- and come back to it later. Its fun :)

I really do know exactly what you are talking about...and it is frustrating! I have had many characters not cooperate or just as bad, change their mind mid-way through a story. Keep her though, because she may have a different journey at some point. ^-~ Daisuki-chan

Hurts, doesnt it? You spend so much time getting to know a character, and then it comes back to bite you in the end. There was much *headdesk*ing for me today. But... for some reason, you keep at it :)

Yes, I'll definately be keeping her. Because as much as I love the plot.. I love HER more. She's fun- and shes a lot of fun to write. Hard, yeah, but I always end a day with her giggiling. Well... almost always. :)

*grin* Sorry. You know how parinoid I am abt that sort of thing. And besides, your mom would kill me. Most of MY family is a bit disturbed by the stuff in this one.

Parts might amuse me, but its not an altogether happy and/or clean book. But *shrug* it needs to be a dark book for the story (or whats left of it) to work. So... much as I'd like to have your mom draw and quarter me- not a chance
:P
