So I've really considered starting selling on Ebay. I just need to know the pros and cons of it all. Am I going to really sell that much that it pays off the selling fees?
I'm curious and it would be a way to use that money for vacations.

Also, if you are looking into really making this a business, you need to find out what you are going to sell. Also, make sure that you pay particular attention to eBay Listing Policies so your items arent' ended. I'd recommend taking the eBay Tutorials for Verified Rights Owners (VeRO), Shill Bidding, Fee Circumvention, Feedback, and Search and Browse Manipulation (Key Word Spamming). They are really helpful, and then you will get an idea of what eBay consideres these violations to be. If you never get an auction ended, it's worth it. In January they rolled out with a new way of enforcing policies, and it's a little more severe than it used to be, what, with all the people breaking the rules all the time.
I would also recommend getting a Premire or Business account with PayPal. By doing that, you receive a PayPal debit/credit card that pulls from your PP balance. It's a whole lot easier to keep track of things and to pay for shipping. Also, you can pay for USPS Shipping from your PP account. So then, if you need to buy shipping supplies (and you can get priority boxes from the USPS for free), you can pay for it on the PP debit/credit card. Then, you're not spending your money, but the money people already paid you for shipping. Also, when you use it as a Credit Card, you get 1% of your purchase back instantly. It's nice.
I'm somewhat of an expert where eBay is concerned, and I'm more than happy to help. Overall, I think selling on eBay is a very good thing, and it doesn't take much to do well at it.
