thanks!

Nice little work there, and it seems this wizard is experienced in misdirection ;-(

Well, it seems to me that if you're an evil wizard, it makes far more sense to stop heroic types from ever finding your lair, than having to kill them once they get there. Less messy, too. :-)

Thanks!

Willow and Conan would like me to thank you for your interest in their bonding, but they aren't too impressed by the implication that you also want more peril for them. ;-)

Getting more and more curious as to why Willow is in this world, and who the wizard is.

To be honest, the wizard is, well, a wizard. An evil wizard. The antagonist. If you like, you can invest him with symbolic and metaphorical qualities such as that he's Willow's shadow self or the path not travelled... but really, this is a pulp adventure romp and as such it needs a villain. The 'Conan' stories are full of evil wizards; they probably have a union.

I can't believe how well these two work together.

And for some reason, the idea of Willow having a magic carpet fills me with glee.

Like I said last time: it's a classic buddy cop movie formula. :-)

This wizard is either going to be a mad genius with a flair for verbal comedy, or a red herring/shirt who gets taken out in less than point two seconds after all this buildup a la Sword Guy in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Actually it'll turn out that stormwreath is doing an surprise crossover with "Dave the Barbarian" and the wizard is the Dark Lord Chuckles the Silly Piggy...
